This would have been my 3rd Subaru purchased from Manchester Subaru in the last 5 years. Via phone and e-mail I discussed buying the EXACT vehicle I wanted with a helpful set of sales folks as I hav Manchester Subaru in the last 5 years. Via phone and e-mail I discussed buying the EXACT vehicle I wanted with a helpful set of sales folks as I have done so in the past two Subarus. We settled on a price, supposedly. Then we started discussing my current Honda car for trade in. I told them what it was, mileage, VIN#, and was honest and as accurate as I could be. We went back and forth. Finally we agreed on my trade in, the new vehicle cost, and hashed out some details. This past Saturday I decided to drive over an hour to purchase the vehicle. I made sure the salesman I had been in contact was in, he was. We sat there for an hour while checking my credit and going over paper work etc, which was fine it was fairly busy. Then a very rude manger or owner pulled our salesman away for a discussion. Then said higher up came over and VERY rudely said the deal was off!! I handed him the printed e-mail discussion between his salesman and me proving what the deal was and guess what, he did not care. Then I asked is this is how they treat return customers and he gave some bogus answer. I told him I will never own another Subaru again and he did not care or did not believe me. Well since I was in Manchester, I decided to look at the CR-V at Autofair Honda. Talk about a much more professional and pleasant experience!! Well, I went home a few hours later with a 2014 Honda CR-V LX AWD. Prior to this I spoke highly about Subaru's and even Subaru of Manchester, jeeze I mean I have already bought two vehicles from them in the last 5 years. Now, I will NEVER go to them again nor will I own a Subaru again after this experience.. Just thought I would share my experience so this does not waste another persons time. More
Used a AAA buying program to select a car, get a discount, set up an appointment with a sales rep. Were supposed to meet with Stephan Silvia on Saturday of Presdient's Day weekend at 2 pm.. He call discount, set up an appointment with a sales rep. Were supposed to meet with Stephan Silvia on Saturday of Presdient's Day weekend at 2 pm.. He called and pushed appointment back to 3 pm, but when we showed up the place was a zoo - people everywhere, no one available to hlep us. We finally found a receptionist/admin who paged Stephan, but he was no where to be found. Eventually, Vern offered to help us, said Stephan was called away. Quickly found that no base models available, and that only premium models available (higher priced, more features than we wanted). When we asked about trade in on our existing 2009 Subaru Forester, he said that was only done once we agreed to buy, which was disconcerting. He waved a paper/worksheet that Stephan had worked up for us (1st time we'd ever seen it), and asked if we were prepared to buy. Having no real sense as to what it was, and being offered no test drive, we were deeply disappointed. Maybe it was the crowds of the Sat President's Day weekend, but we got no good vibes from this dealer. We wanted to leave, but Vern wanted us to wait and meet his sales mgr. We waited and waited, Vern was gone somewhere, so we finally left and went down to Milford Subaru and had a much nicer experience, and bought a car there. More
I have heard so many good things about Manchester Subaru but i dont see it. This dealership takes younger adults as a joke. I tried a second time for a brand new impreza wrx about a year ago, I was standing outside on the lot looking at it for 20 minutes before anyone came out. The salesman at that time was very cocky and rude but after running my credit and all that fun stuff they said id have no problem getting approved with all the factors and said theyd be in touch, they never called. I figured id give them one more shot since they had a larger choice of used Wrx sti's in stock that were used. I was looking at one that had just come in with Mark Rowe, He got the keys and unclocked the car then said ill be right back. I was out there for 15-20 minutes before i just left. If you really want to make a sale, you dont do things like that. I thought he was rude and obvioulsy didnt take me seriously. I will not go back to this dealership again. 3 tries is enough. More

The advisers are always very friendly and willing to work with there customers and go the extra mile when they are in need. A lot of people complain about how expensive service and parts are but do not take a min to say "okay well i am paying for the quality of OEM parts and the time it takes for a mechanic to fix my car and his knowledge and skill to keep me safe on the road". We should walk in happy to know someone is there to help us!. I took my car in here because my clutch was making a funny clicking noise, they took a look at it and in a matter of minutes they found the issue, and it was covered under warranty, that same day they replaced the whole clutch assembly and the Master Cylinder pump and did an oil change and i was out within 2 hours, that kind of work would take all day in my experiences at other dealers. My experiences with this dealers service has always been outstanding. From Mike C.,Tom P. in parts, Finding the parts i need for my wrx at a great price to Todd G. Rob M., Tom B. in Service always being so kind and willing to work with and Jennifer and Jared for helping me with service schedules and loaners. Jennifer's service was very exceptional on my last visit, friendly and always smiling no matter the circumstances. She has always went the extra mile in pleasing her customers. I am looking forward to my next visit here. You should too! More
I had been looking for a new car and had not bought a new car for 20 years. I thought that I wanted a Subaru and I read about Manchester Subaru being the largest Subaru dealer in New England and when I rea car for 20 years. I thought that I wanted a Subaru and I read about Manchester Subaru being the largest Subaru dealer in New England and when I read the reviews of Manchester Subaru, the dealership was excellent and there was a salesman's name with some excellent reviews, Jack Berkowitz and I called him directly at Manchester Subaru. Jack was professional, informative, listened to what I needed in a car and took all of my information about my trade in, finances and told me all about the Forester being the Motor Trend car of the year and directed me to where I could independently read about the car so I could decide if what he thought was the car for me, I would agree and my son could read the same information. My son lives in Chicago so it was helpful that Jack would have spoken to him directly if need be. Every time that I had a question about any of the processing of buying the car, I received all of the information that I needed and I never felt rushed. I received a better deal for the financing and for the price of the car than I would get from my own Credit Union and from local Subaru dealers. Jack brought the car to me in Boston and spent a very long time making sure that I was totally familair with the workings of the car. He and Dan the other driver were so helpful with the plates with the information for what I do if I have any questions, any problemsin the future not to hesitate to call him directly. I would recommend to anyone who was thinking about buying a new car or a used car to call Jack Berkowitz. He is an honest broker and I got treated professionally, friendly and fairly. One easy process in buying a car with a great deal. More

My payments are extremely affordable and the atmosphere of the dealership is just overwhelmingly warm and kind (even if it's 3 degrees out). Jack helped me clean all of my important stuff out of my trade-in, and that was no easy task, This is the best experience I personally have ever had with a dealership or car dealer. Normally dealerships wanna suck all they can out of you. However Jack made it his mission to get me approved at a very reasonable monthly payment and worked his butt off to get me a good interest rate. I purchased my Subaru Impreza in December 2012 from Manchester Subaru. One of the critical factors in my decision to purchase from there instead of Subaru in Milford (which had the same car) was the F Manchester Subaru. One of the critical factors in my decision to purchase from there instead of Subaru in Milford (which had the same car) was the FREE OIL CHANGE FOR LIFE and FREE STATE INSPECTIONS guarantee. BEWARE - In order to get the benefit you MUST do all of the recommended (not required) service checkups at the dealership, forcing you to spend hundreds of dollars there, to continue to get the free oil changes. At the time of the purchase decision, our sales person “Matt” represented this program (to both myself and my husband) as a great benefit that could be worth a couple hundred dollars a year given my high mileage as a traveling respiratory therapist. We agreed. But, we were somewhat skeptical and asked him to guarantee the “Free” by writing it on the purchase contract and the We Owe statement, which he did. The problem is that AT NO TIME did Matt ever explain or provide information on the requirements of spending hundreds of dollars in service “check-ups” in order to get the free lifetime oil changes and inspections. Not until my wife tried to get the second oil change was she told she also had to spend over $200 for the check up in order to get the oil change. The dealership misrepresented the benefit, and when Todd Berkowitz was asked to make it right, he merely pointed to a paragraph on their website which describes the program, but never took responsibility for the sales person's misrepresentation. That, to me, is a dealership not worth a second look. More
On the morning of November 26, 2013 I set out to purchase a new vehicle that would meet the criteria I was seeking. My first experience in buying this car was finding the perfect match at a Concord, NH Subar a new vehicle that would meet the criteria I was seeking. My first experience in buying this car was finding the perfect match at a Concord, NH Subaru dealership. I went into the dealership to test drive the vehicle of my dreams, only to discover that it had 40,000 miles on it and not the advertised 26,000. I explained to the staff how upsetting it was and I was told that sometimes things aren’t updated on the website. They weren’t willing to lower the price on the vehicle and said I could take it or leave it. I went home and did some more research and found another car at the Concord lot as well as one at Manchester Subaru. I called Manchester Subaru and set up a time for a test drive that afternoon. I left home and went to the Concord dealer to try and see if we could work out a deal prior to me taking my business elsewhere. I was met with much difficulty. They offered me $18,000 for my trade even though it is valued at $21,000. They were willing to give me more for my trade but were unwilling to lower the price on the car I wanted. As I was walking out the door I mentioned that I was on my way to Manchester and they were going to give me a better deal and a better match on value for my trade. The salesman chased me out the door arguing with me on why I couldn’t be telling the truth. He told me to go on and go to Manchester and I’ll get the same answers that I got there. I felt attacked and have never been spoken to so rudely in an establishment that I was trying to take my business to. After I left the Concord dealer I drove to Manchester where I was greeted by Matt Knezevic. He greeted me with a warm smile and a great attitude. He had the car waiting for me that I called about. He took me for a test drive and I fell in love with the car. He made me laugh throughout the whole process and I felt much more comfortable than I did in Concord. At the end of the day I purchased the car for a little less than they were asking and I got exactly what I wanted to get out of my trade. A day that started out as my worst buying experience turned into my best. I am truly thankful for all the work Matt put into the deal so I could get the car I needed. I will always bring my business to Manchester from now on even though my family has purchased 5 vehicles in Concord. I will encourage them all to take their business to a place where they will be respected and treated like a customer instead of a nuisance. So I say thank you to Matt and Manchester Subaru for the incredible buying experience. You turned a really bad day into an awesome day. I can’t wait to do business again someday. More
I purchased my first ever Subaru through Manchester Subaru. I bought a new 2013 Outback and used a VIP program from my employer, Johnson Controls. The sales experience was one of the best for sure and so was the salesperson and sales manager. However, the service is horrible and have many dealers to compare it to. I have purchased over 30 new cars in my life time. My first service appointment was made weeks in advance for oil change only for 9:00am--but it took 1.5 hours to get it done at 10:30am. I made my second appointment in my name with Jarod for this Saturday, 12/14/13 for 9:00am. However, I just received a confirmation for Friday, 12/20/13 at 9:00am. So I called 603-668-2411 and spoke with Jen and told her my phone auto-confirmation and appointment is incorrect. So then she said your husband sent an email and changed it. I told her I had no idea what she was talking about. That would not have happened. So then she asks me if my husbands name is John and I said oddly it was but he did not email a change. So then she spelled my last name from this email and it is incorrect and also had the car listed as a 2010 Outback. At that point I knew it was another customer. So I would have driven to this dealer all the way from Amherst NH on Saturday, 12/14/13 and there would have been no appointment for me. How do your service reps confuse appointments with two different names, two different cars on 2 different days?????? Then I asked Jen if I could speak with the Sales Manager and she said Service has nothing to do with Sales. I told her it has everything to do with Service--if I never buy another car there again. Then she said you need to tell me the name of the sales manager so I know who you spoke to before about this. Jen is of no use to a customer, did not identify her name until I asked (along with all the other employees at this dealer-they never identify themselves unless you ask first) and was not able to assist. So I called back and asked to speak with a service or sales manager. I spoke with Christian and he told me everyone is in a meeting and someone would call me back. Nobody has yet. More
