Wow pretty much explains the experience we had purchasing our new Outback from Jack Berkowitz at Manchester. Living in Southeastern Mass, we really had no prior knowledge of Manchester until my brother who l our new Outback from Jack Berkowitz at Manchester. Living in Southeastern Mass, we really had no prior knowledge of Manchester until my brother who lives in North Country referred us. We were so happy that we contacted Jack. Not only did he get the deal done for us via email and phone, he personally delivered the car to our doorstep, and spent plenty of time patiently explaining the vehicles features; etc. Jack was pleasant, professional, and worked diligently to accommodate our every need. We really appreciated that he treated us with respect as people, not just as a "commission". Although we live 2 hours away, this was without a doubt, the easiest and most satisfying new car purchase we have ever made. I highly recommend you consider dealing with Jack. He is a sincere man who doesn't xx you. That's really what we were looking for, and we found that in Jack. Thanks again bud. More

Charlie Foster and the incredible finance team at Manchester Subaru made that dream my reality. From the moment I first stepped foot on the lot until the moment my signature was scrawled next to the final "X", I never once felt pressured or up-sold. Instead, the Manchester Subaru team simply listened. Whether I was spewing the nature of my needs and wants or expounding upon the boundaries of my financial wherewithal and obligations, Charlie Foster and his team heard what I had to say and shot me straight throughout the entire process. More than accommodating, Charlie and Manchester Subaru went out of their way to add my name to their laundry list of satisfied customers. My personal experience with Manchester Subaru and Charlie Foster more than validates every positive review of Manchester Subaru out there. It is no mystery why these guys move so many more cars than everyone else; high quality, cost effective vehicles and a dealership that can make deals happen that the other guys simply can't! Let me start by stating I just had the best car buying experience ever!! What started as simply researching vehicles turned into a purchase within a weeks time mostly because of the excellent customer se experience ever!! Although we test drove a Forester at another dealer we intended to purchase at, a quick inquiry to Gary resulted in a guarantee to beat any other price. Also a commitment to drive the vehicle to our residence and pick up the trade in exchange. Tough to pass up. As we finalized pricing it was discovered that our trade had been in an accident prior to our purchase thus making it difficult to sale. Gary stood by his word to honor the trade price quoted despite the report of an accident. Very impressed to work with a man of his word and not the stereotypical "car salesman." Gary's manager Mike was equally impressive to work with as we spoke one evening to close the deal and ending up having a good laugh about our kids and humorously discussing where we live. Very relaxed atmosphere, easy to talk to. Need a car? Especially a Subaru. Highly, strongly suggest you give Gary and Mike a call at Subaru of Manchester. Easy purchase. As for closing the sale, Gary actually drove to my wifes place of work and we signed the paperwork in the parking lot! He will make the sale anywhere and work around your schedule. Problem #1 Gary said it would be ready on Monday so drove 1 1/2 hours to pick it up. When I arrived, I was told that it wasn't ready and when asked why they didn't call me I got an excuse that he was too bu 1 1/2 hours to pick it up. Problem #2 I waited over an hour just to complete the paperwork on the vehicle. Gary said he would drive it to me the following day. We met at a Lowes parking lot and I got there early so I went inside to look around. Problem #3 Gary got there early and I wasn't outside with the car. He took it upon himself to take off my license plates, which wouldn't have been a problem but he couldn't get the screws out on the rear plate so he ripped it off deforming it in the process. When I went out to the car, he stated, "I'm glad I got the right car". He showed me that he ripped license plate off. I questioned why he did it without me being present or even asking. He merely stated that he had to take it off. Problem#4 While driving the new car that day with my wife, she notice that the car didn't have an inspection sticker. I called Gary who stated he would have to get back to me. He stated that the inspection sticker not being on the vehicle was state law and I needed to get the vehicle registered. I went to the dealership and asked the service department about it. They stated that the car should have had a inspection sticker on it when I got it sooo Gary lied to me. I can deal with one problem but all of these problems when buying a new car is not right. I will not be purchasing anymore vehicles at this dealership. More

I am so pleased with the service that was provided for me at Manchester Subaru. Marc was a pleasure to work with most of my conversations with him was done by email. I looked for months for this car and found it at Manchester Subaru. I did start to deal with another dealer close to them, but I wasnt very impressed. The other dealership I didnt even get my questions anwered by a salesperson, I had to speak to a woman who didnt know anything and they kept after me about coming down (1hr and half away). Lets just say this dealer wasnt being "FAIR". Manchester Subaru is the place to go and Marc is who you want to see. Marc also delivered the car to me at work which made things so much easier. My mom will be in the market for a new car and I will take to to see Marc. I couldnt be happier. Thank you also go out to the other staff members who made this possible. More
I am so impressed with the sales team at Manchester Subaru. When I first arrived I was greeted by salesman, Charlie Foster. I was running out of time to pick a vehicle and decided on a Subaru Outback that was in great condition. It was just traded in and though it took some work for Charlie to get the vehicle out of a multitude of other vehicles, he did it and set me up for a test drive. The car was in great shape. Even though I wanted an SUV I decided the deal he was giving me was good and so I signed the paperwork. They would get the car ready for me to pick up the next day. When I woke up (2:30 in the morning I was having second thoughts on the car and had made the decision not to go with that car. I knew I had signed the contract, but I really hoped I could get out of it. The manager of sales said that though it was unusual, to break the contract, since I already signed the contract and financing was in place, he worked with Charlie to find another vehicle that would suit my desires. I ended up with exactly what I wanted, a Forester, at a great price and in great condition. Even though I was a mess, Charlie was calm and understanding and worked in my best interest. This forester didn't have the cross members for the roof rails and when I asked Charlie about getting some he said let me see if we have any in the shop. He not only came back with the cross braces, he also came back with a sliding trunk cover as well. Here you go he said, no charge. That was the icing on the cake. If the car fell apart tomorrow it wouldn't take away the great experience I had working with these professionals. Xan Petterson worked on getting me financed with a great rate. This is the only dealership I am pleased to do so for. This is my first car I bought through Gary Smith, and it was a great experience. No rushing, no pushing, and he helped facilitate the extra financing work I needed. Todd put in the effort needed to call around to get me approved for a rate I was comfortable with. I had a bad experience with a different local Subaru dealer, and now I know I don't have to "Shop around". Manchester is full of honest, hard working people. I will certainly choose to come back, and I encourage others to look here first. More
