I called and spoke with Charlie Foster who was attentive to my needs and wants. Even though the day/weekend I decided to try to buy a car was a busy one, Charlie stayed in touch with me and provided me with the information I needed. He didn't make excuses and his upfront honesty was what made me want to finish the deal with him. Charlie worked hard to get me the deal I needed, which was very much appreciated. The delivery of the vehicle to my workplace made the deal complete as I didn't have to drive to Manchester to finalize the deal. I will and have recommended Charlie and Manchester Subaru to others. Mark Rowe, my salesman was very understanding and so was everyone else I worked with! Although I was very happy with my purchase and overall experience, the one aspect I think can be improved upon would be the service department. I was told some "inaccurate" information about the appointments for inspections, services, time they're open until, etc (not a huge deal at all) and when I arrived at the service department for my inspection I felt that the employees were annoyed that I was there at 4:56 and they closed at 5:00... I obviously felt bad for keeping the employees late but felt that I was shrugged off for being ignorant regarding the fact that I should have made an appointment. Either way, it was a great experience and I appreciate all of the help! More

The sales guy i had was Jack and also Tony. I had been coming in this store for the past 2 years waiting and waiting to be able to afford the car of my dreams, a subaru WRX. So this month it happened. I went in and as soon as i hit the door Jack was there and remembered me from long ago and jumped right into helping me. I told his what i wanted to pay and how i was going to do it and he made it happen. He didnt push me into anything and he made sure there was no tricks. He was super personable. So to cut to the chase it was hands down the best car buying experience that you could ever want and ask for in a first brand new car purchase and i couldnt have done it without Jack and Tony. These guys are just amazing. More

I bought my Forester 20 days ago, and I returned to the dealership to have my plates put on, and true to his word, Joey LaBranche (my previous sales consultant), was so friendly and put them on my Forester in the pouring rain, nonetheless. While I was waiting for this this to be done I ran into Bob Broyer who remembered me from 20 days ago and again we entered into a friendly conversation. My family was so impressed with my experiences with Manchester Subaru that they commented to me how this dealership and their staff seemed so honest and friendly, a place you could feel safe purchasing a vehicle. I had to heartily agree! Oh yeah, by the way I am still really enjoying my Subaru Forester, something I think I will still be able to say for years to come. Judy More
Anything to make a buck Back in 2011 I bought a Impreza WRX from this dealer against my better judgement. In 2005 a friend of mine had a problem with his WRX that he purchase Back in 2011 I bought a Impreza WRX from this dealer against my better judgement. In 2005 a friend of mine had a problem with his WRX that he purchased from Manchester Subaru. He needed top end work as a result of bad rod bearings. He purchased the extended warranty that *Should* have covered this problem. It can only be assumed that the dealer is rewarded by Subaru for making sure these problems don't get covered under warranty. As the story goes, they accused him of beating a perfectly stock WRX ($25K car) and proceeded to charge him for the diagnostic fee. Fast forward to 2015, I get a check engine light on my 2011 WRX (76,000 miles). I initially believe that the spark plugs are due to get changed and try to schedule this service through Manchester Subaru. After being treated extremely rudely and effectively told to fill out a form and drop the car, they *may* get to it tomorrow, I left. I called Exeter Subaru and scheduled a visit with them. Do not make the mistake of visiting the dealership on RT1 in North Hampton, it's owned by the same management. After a service at Exeter Subaru the check engine light came back on. I reluctantly scheduled another service with Manchester Subaru. Upon arrival the clerk behind the counter recognized the possible *major* problems I could be having with my vehicle by name and responded with 'ahhh yes, ring land failure.' After about 2 hours they came out to me and told me they need more time with the vehicle. They stated that they did a compression test and a leak down test and they had come back fine. They also said that my misfire code was not specific to cylinder 4 as I had originally thought. I asked them for a ride home and asked to be placed on the list for a loaner car. The next day I was called and told that the leak down test failed and they would "have to take the motor apart to find out if Subaru would cover it under warranty." A potential cost of $500 to me if they didn't cover it, then I would also have to pay to have them put it back together. On the 3rd day I called twice and both times I was told that they didn't know yet what was wrong with the motor. No mention of what progress has been accomplished. I called on the 4th day today only to find out that they had not done any work on it at all. The shop manager then got on the phone and accused me of modifying the car something I have never done. Then proceeded to tell me that the two most common failures that this could be would not be covered under Subaru warranty. I finally refused to let them work on my car, I paid the $100 diagnostic fee and took the car home. I found the car was now stalling at every stop and was actually dangerous to drive. The service manager said that my vehicle had it's ignition count reset 30 ignition cycles ago indicating some modifications were done. when I popped open my hood I found a burned out 120 Amp fuse that was clipped together with a binder or utility clip, my battery was loose and the cover for the engine compartment fuse panel was hanging off. I did some research and found a major short (120 Amp burned out fuse) can cause an ignition cycle count reset. Not only did they do nothing to help me out, they made my situation worse. The person who shorted out my electrical system is lucky they didn't get seriously injured or killed doing what ever they were doing. Manchester Subaru should fire that person for gross incompetence. I have pictures and videos of all the components Manchester Subaru managed to cause damage to. This is a long drawn out story only to let you know that this could be you. If you look up Subaru Ring Land Failure you will see lots of stories about it. It won't happen to every WRX or STI out there and it is more likely to happen if you modify your car. The point is, if you drive the car with respect, always use high octane gas and change the oil every 3000 miles this can still happen. When it does your extended warranty that Todd B. charged you $2000 for is completely useless. That is because this dealership is xxxx bent on blaming you for something you didn't do. If you ask me, Don't buy a Subaru. If you have to buy a Subaru, don't buy a turbo charged Subaru. If you must buy a turbo charged Subaru, don't buy it from Manchester Subaru. Please pass this on to your friends and family. Learn the lesson the easy way from me. Don't risk it, Buy another brand else where. More

His honest, friendly, no pressure sales approach was refreshing and very much appreciated. I was very impressed with him. He took the time to listen to me and without pressure allowed me to take my time test driving a vehicle similar to one I would be purchasing. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly. After I purchased my Subaru he gave a detailed explanation of the vehicle's features and demonstrated how they worked. Two days after the sale was completed, I was not considered personna non grata, as he gave me a call to ensure there were no questions or problems. Joey LaBranche is an excellent example of what a sales associate should be. He kept his word and consistently went above and beyond expectations even after the sale. On a side note, other sales staff in particular, Bob Broyer and Stan Howard were also warm and friendly adding to a very positive buying experience. As with any business they endeavor to make a profit, but they do it not by underhanded double talking fast deals, but by treating the customer as they would like to be treated, thus ensuring not only repeat business, but also a plethora of word of mouth new business. If you want to be treated fairly and with dignity and respect I highly recommend Manchester Subaru and their sales staff, in particular Joey LaBranche. This type of quality not only speaks well of the sales staff, but of the dealership owner as well, as excellence begets excellence. Sincerely, Judy, a very satisfied customer. More

I had done my research, knew exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay for it. I even brought back-up (my big baby of a Pit Bull)! Joey LaBranche and the rest of the team made me and my pup feel right at home. Everyone in the showroom was really friendly and welcoming. All of the time I spent practicing my poker face in the mirror was a waste. Joey took the time to listen to my needs and make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. When it came time to talk numbers, everything was clearly laid out and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I left feeling like I was walking on air. I got a fantastic finance rate, paid a great price for my new vehicle and got a fair deal on my trade. Huge thanks to Joey who went above and beyond the call of duty to show me how to install the roof racks on my new Forester! More
