"Last month you filed a complaint with the BBB on this very issue. Due to the distance and time needed associated with the repair, we offered to split the cost of the repair at your local dealer as goodwill. You accepted our offer and the BBB noted in their records: “CONSUMER SATISFIED- WITH LETTER : (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)” BBB and Manchester Subaru considers the matter closed. As it relates to the previous accident. CARFAX did report that a rear impact occurred with the previous owner in January 2015, not 2012, and that it was clearly shown on the free CARFAX report on our website at the time you purchased the vehicle. For complete transparency, we always offer free CARFAX reports on our website as well as in our showroom, where a huge CARFAX banner is located. It is impossible for us to alter a feed coming directly from CARFAX. If you feel that CARFAX omitted information, you should contact them concerning their Buyback Guarantee Program. CARFAX does randomly add content on a vehicle, especially after one year. The fact is the WRX was fine at delivery and we put our best effort forward to help you, doing one repair and paying 1/2 of another as a goodwill gesture. We wish you luck. Todd Berkowitz, Owner

"Good afternoon: We spoke the other day and explained in quite detail how we process all used vehicles not just the one you purchased. There are several odors that require different products to clean vehicles such as dog hair,smoke to mention a few. The vehicle you purchased was cleaned and mechanically checked before it was sold. This is a process used by most dealerships. You had test driven the vehicle twice before purchasing it and we did several things a few weeks later to assist in making the odor less noticeable. You had asked us to return the vehicle after several weeks of ownership and our offer was to give you all of your purchase price less $395.00 towards a vehicle that is currently in our inventory. Your decision was to decline that and asked for a full refund. We feel that the dealership is acting in good faith and the vehicle does not have any mechanical issues.
