I live in Chicago and no Lexus dealer in our area was able to locate the specific car with the color combination I wanted. Ira Lexus had a car available and even though they are located in Boston, MA both Elliot Honig and Tom Blanchette worked with us to ensure that we were within our budget along with securing financing and paperwork outside what would be needed for an in-state sale. We flew to Boston to pick up the car and to visit a part of the country we had never seen and were so pleasantly surprised with the ease of the transaction. All the paperwork was done beforehand so all we needed to do was sign a few things and then go over the car and its features and we were on our way. I continue to lease my vehicles through IRA for a number of reasons but most importantly because of the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I worked with Elliot Honig for my last lease in 2008 and went directly back to Mr. Honig because he is such a pleasure to work with. He provided me with all of my options and assisted me in getting into exactly the vehicle I wanted without sacrafice. I felt no pressure and took up a great deal of time over three days to ensure that I was making the right decision. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. Everyone from reception to service to sales to finance was extremely helpful and most importantly friendly. I did my research prior to coming in to discuss my next lease and found that Elliot and IRA are straight forward, no nonsense, which I very much appreciated. I did not feel that I was being cheated in any way. I highly recommend Mr. Honig and IRA Lexus. I have been a loyal customer for 6 years and am looking forward to the next three years and beyond. I usually do not write reviews but I felt that I had to after the exceptional service that I received from Teresa Mullen at Ira Lexus.(back in September) I was in the middle of one of the worst days that I after the exceptional service that I received from Teresa Mullen at Ira Lexus.(back in September) I was in the middle of one of the worst days that I had ever had and the last thing I was looking forward to was bringing my Lexus GS in for service. As soon as I walked in the door I was met by Teresa and she could tell that I was having a bad day. She quickly brightened my outlook with her friendly greeting and things only got better from there. The only thing more impressive than her overall attitude was her outstanding knowledge of your product. I will admit that I consider myself a bit of an old-timer and was apprehensive about having a woman talk to me about servicing my car. Not only did Miss. Mullen answer every question that I had she got me on my way in a much shorter time than I expected. I was so impressed with her that I convinced two of my friends to buy from Ira Lexus. In this day and age of so many choices once I delt with Teresa Mullen the choice was simple. I will not bring my Lexus ANYWHERE else!!!!!! She is a true asset to Ira. More
Teresa Mullen is a very, very, very poor representation of the quality and excellence that I believe your dealership prides itself on. I have never had such an unpleasant experience getting my car serviced of the quality and excellence that I believe your dealership prides itself on. I have never had such an unpleasant experience getting my car serviced as I did in dealing with Teresa Mullen. She has the most unprofessional attitude I have ever dealt with at Ira. She was very sarcastic about answering questions and even quick tempered and impatient with some of my concerns about the work being done, I felt like I was getting royally ripped off and I have never experienced this treatment at anytime by any other employee, not my salesman, finance manager all top notch. I have been a customer for several years and I believe she is fairly new so in the future I will avoid her and insist on dealing with a more pleasant, knowledgeable employee. In speaking with friends who also patronize Ira Lexus I have heard the same concerns. Maybe a word from the management on how to treat a paying customer may be helpful. I will give your service department another try, but steer clear of Teresa. If all else fails I will be using Herb Chambers. More
