Was at the beginning of my car search and was interested in a few different Lexus models. I told the sales team the models I was interested in and it was like they did not hear me. I explained to them that there was no way I was going to make a deal right there at the dealership. They also disregarded this information and proceeded to make fools out of themselves. The manager came in to "close the deal" and started to be-little me after I explained that I did not come there that day to make a deal (my first and only time visiting). These were the type of car salesmen I was hoping to avoid throughout my buying. If you want to hear cheesy, aggressive lines and talk to robots, then have fun with your sales experience at Ira Danverse. They do have some decent prices, but so does their competition. If you want normal sales guys I'd recommend Lexus of Watertown. More
I was in the market to get a 2010 Lexus GS 350 after I was having issues with my 2009 Acura TL. I visited their website to get a guage on what my rather new TL with only 5000 miles that I paid $40,000 fo was having issues with my 2009 Acura TL. When I clicked their trade-in value evaluator I was taken to NADA's website and rather surprised they gave me a value of $33,500 as a trade-in. Fair right? Well I talked to Danny the sales manager today and he tells me that the auction price evaluator they have spits out $27,000 for my TL. This is a 2009 Acura TL with All Wheel Drive and technology package that has a MSRP of $43,000. To me this is deception. Why put up a trade-in evaluator on the web site when in "reality" they use an auction evaluator at the dealership!! How do they offer $27,000 as a trade-in for a car which is one year old and only has 5,000 miles, yes five thousand miles!! I was disgusted and will never do business with this dealership EVER. I have leased several cars from Elliot Honig at IRA Lexus. He is the most honest and knowledgable sales man I have ever dealt with. We recently purchased our fifth Lexus from IRA Lexus and this was our fourth RX. Both my husband and I are currently driving a RX. This is also the fourth time that Eliot Honig was our salesman. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help with this purchase. Eliot just knows what we are looking for, sometimes before we know. Next time we purchase a new car we will be going back to IRA. THis was one of many visits to car dealerships in the last weeks. I most say that the atmosphere and tone were quite different. Elliot was great, informed courteous professional. Indeed he represented what he called the Lexus philosophy of elegance and class. Not only did he sell a car but he also sold the lexus experience of buying a car. As usual we had to deal with the sales manager (his last name escapes me) to narrow down the price. Eventually we got close enough,,,a bit higher than other dealers but with a sense of respect and class that made you willing to spend a little more and not deal with the aggressive and disrespectful attitude at other dealerships. I must say that given the fact that Ira is quite far from my place of work or residence they understood that they most likely would not get any of the service business but they still continued to work hard to earn my business. I am glad to have met Elliot and his coworkers and if I need to purchase a Lexus again in the future I will return to this excellent dealership Thanks IRA, Elliot and all the other great Staff More
I rarely take the time to go on-line to write reviews, and never thought I would do so for a car purchase. But my experience with my salesman, John Ponce, was so far beyond my expectations that I just had and never thought I would do so for a car purchase. But my experience with my salesman, John Ponce, was so far beyond my expectations that I just had to share it with those out there who, like myself, dread car shopping. John was honest, friendly, professional and caring from beginning to end. He did everything he could possibly do to make sure my experience was not a stressful one. The fact that I walked out with a gorgeous Lexus Rx at a very fair price was the icing on the cake. The manager was superb as well. As a woman, I was also very impressed with John's care to not talk down to me. He answered my questions and made the buying experience fun! I would not hesitate to purchase from Ira Lexus again, and would absolutely go straight to John Ponce and would absolutely refer him to my friends and family. More
We recently leased a Lexus RX350 from Elliot at Ira. I have to say Elliot was WONDERFUL, HELPFUL,RESPECTFUL and so VERY KIND. Elliot was nothing but HONEST with us, there was not one question that he coul have to say Elliot was WONDERFUL, HELPFUL,RESPECTFUL and so VERY KIND. The color we wanted was gone, but he showed a color he knew we would like just as much, but never thought of it. Sure enough when the truck arrived...we loved it!Elliot was such a GEM to us, never once was he pushy, he kept our best interest as his top priority and made the whole process comfortable and easy. We will definatley refer family and friends to him and look forward to doing repeat business with him. Irs Lexus is very LUCKY to have Elliot Honig on their staff! Thank You Elliot for everything! This is our second Lexus purchase; the first was from this dealership so at first it made sense to go back. We (husband and wife) “elderly always do our research before such a purchase. We knew exactly what we wanted in a car and new what it “should cost” as well as the current finance rates and costs. After a brief meeting we where quoted on a new Lexus RX 350 -10 was a ridicules high price and we had to sign right now today to get this offer Knowing where this price should fall we said no, at this point the PRESSURE started. He (rick the salesman) came back with his “new” manager, and long story on how great he is and we given another price for a different car. Before we knew it we where literately forced into test-driving a car we did want, wrong color, wrong options wrong everything. They did this to get us out of the building for a bit so they good get together while we where gone and attack us when we got back... yes attack us. When we got back we again said NO, never ever giving thought to go to another Lexus dealer. We would have settled for the new Cadillac crossover which we already had pricing on (so much lower in price then their offers. They did come down in price and place us where we wanted to be, but not in the color we wanted. We both felt like we had enough of this high pressure and high cost. When leaving I gave instructions to only email me if anything changed, this was on a Saturday. Over a two-day period this salesman Rick called our home and cell 18 times. Each call he became angrier that we did not by his car, the one that he picked. On Monday his disturbing behavior troubled us and this forced us to anther Lexus dealer. IRA did lower there price to a more reasonable figure but the damage was done. On Tuesday while at another Lexus dealer and talking to a staff member and salesman we documented 9 more calls to our phone, if I did not pick-up he (Rick) would call right back, if I did not pick-up he would call right back and finally leave a forceful voice message. A total of 27 calls where made to our phones in a 4 day time frame. This is all documented and witnessed by others. For my wife and I at my age we see this as a severe form of harassment. Finally on Wednesday he called again telling us he has one car left for us, can you imagine a big dealership like that having only one car. At this point he was told we have purchased the RX 350 we wanted at another dealership. He got very angry and had nothing but criticism for our choice. I (we) am in the position to purchase a new vehicle every two or three years, all luxury models. This abuse from IRA and their tag team of robots will be remembered as criminals and shared to all we know. Remember we did go there to buy, moving from a 2008 Lexus RX 350 to a 2010 Lexus RX 350. My wife who works for a law firm is putting together a complaint of harassment in will file this the begging of next week. One complaint against the dealer and another complaint against the salesman. This should help in making sure they treat all ages equally Stay away from IRA Lexus in Danvers. If not, at least find another dealer and compare people, environment, number of cars and the company, even if you have to travel an hour away. As for the purchase from another dealer, it was perfect. The wife got what she wanted and a few extra options at a better price. Not only that but we where made to feel comfortable and NO ONE sold us anything. They just provided us with what we wanted at a fair price and treated us like family. I don't believe it is fair to mentioned who we went with but you can look for other dealers to find other posts. Buying a Lexus is something I have been wanting for a long time. When I walked into IRA Lexus in Danvers, Danny told me I would be leaving with a Lexus. He introduced me to Ted Poulos and from there we long time. When I walked into IRA Lexus in Danvers, Danny told me I would be leaving with a Lexus. He introduced me to Ted Poulos and from there we worked out a great deal. They made it so easy and I am now in my new SUV. They lacked the pushiness of a car salesman and worked with me until I felt comfortable signing on the dotted line. I will recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Lexus. More

I never felt rushed or pressured by them but felt like they tried to get to know me, seeing what I really wanted. After meeting with Bert Rivas then Danny Kaboub on my first day there, I decided to wait on the used Lexus. However, I was so impressed with them I went back a week later and was welcomed by a smiling Danny Kaboub who sold me a brand new IS 250. Not only did I get a great deal but I made some friends in the process! I've never been happier owning a car and feel confident my experience in the future with them will be a pleasure.
