That's unacceptable. And I didn't even get a car wash while I waited. No communication on what the status was or anything. The check in process is total chaos. I waited in the car for a good five minutes before someone told me to go inside. The refreshments area was totally empty. Not even a drink in the fridge. Overall a very poor experience. More

I was excited to purchase a new GX550 today. These were not from the factory, they would be done by the dealer. None had already been done, b/c the car had literally arrived off the truck and hadn't even been prepped yet. 1. $1134 for a ceramic coat paint peotection 2. $299 for Nitrogen gas in the wheels 3. $499 for some "tracking device" so my car could be found any time. So, my final offer to the salesman was that I would pay MSRP but didn't want these extra products that have no value to me. I was told that I could not buy the car without adding these, "because it's a GX550", "Company policy". Was also told the company only finances through Lexus Financing and I could not use my own bank. Another lifetime first! Having bought many cars over my lifetime, I have never been forced to add value to the dealers cost through required dealership adders as a requirement for a car purchase. I later spoke with 2 other MA Lexus dealers about their "requirements" and none had these for any car including that model. Doing this because a new model is in high demand is unfair and deceptive. This kind of business practice is not the kind of place I will ever do business and hope the word spreads for "buyer beware" and go elsewhere for a Lexus. More
