Bought a new Accord for my wife, the salesperson begged me to fill out the sales experience survey with a perfect score or he would not get a bonus on his commission, he made it transactional by offering m me to fill out the sales experience survey with a perfect score or he would not get a bonus on his commission, he made it transactional by offering me a tank of gas for doing so. When he wrote up the quote for the car there was a line for $375 for all weather mats and locking lug nuts, I asked for that to be removed which he did, but I got to thinking that this sales survey might be worth more than a $35 tank of gas, I kind of wanted those all weather mats, I looked online and from Honda factory parts. com they were $124, and the lug nuts were $42.50, so they were going to charge me $375 for $166.50 worth of parts. I get the survey and asked the salesperson if they were willing to give me a set of mats for the perfect survey results, he refers it to his manager who insulted my intelligence with his response. Long story longer, we went back and forth for a few days and the general manager of the dealership contacted me and admonished me for holding them up like I was being unreasonable and not a good person (wow a car salesman calling me bad that is something) and said he would give me the floors mats and door protectors for a perfect survey result, but then insulted me saying he didn't trust me to fill it out favorably and didn't want any further business from me. More
