Prime Honda had advertised a 2008 Honda Element LX for $17,495. I inquired about this vehicle and decided that I preferred the EX model. The LX was advertised at $4,355 below MSRP. Mike said that there was similar savings on the EX model, yet then told me they would sell the EX at $19,995 (not similar savings, no matter how you look at it - $ off, % off, difference in MSRP between the LX/EX, etc.). Zack called me and told me that they were going to be having a big sale and that the Elements would be over $4,000 off & suggested I bring in my Element to get a trade-in value. I met with Maria to do this and was told that the price was full MSRP at $23,860, and that they'd give me a $8,000 credit for my Element (book trade-in was $11,600!). Having already been told that the vehicle would be $19,995, then jumping it back up to $23,860 and offering me $8,000 for my vehicle, means that they were really only giving me about $4,000 for my vehicle! I was so insulted that I walked out of the dealership. The following day Zack called to apologize and said my car was misquoted as a 2003 model, not a 2004, and that it should have been $10,000, not $8,000. BUT, now he said the price would be $21,995. I told him you just increased the price of the vehicle by $2,000 (from the $19,995 I was originally quoted by Mike) and then increased the trade-in by $2,000. There's no correction here! Zack then wanted to know who told me that the Elements would be over $4,000 off. I told him, he did, 2 days ago! They are just shifting numbers around, not changing the bottom line price at all! This dealership is very dishonest and will jerk you around. If you decide to work with this dealership, be VERY careful and review all numbers carefully! We ended up buying a Toyota from a different dealership (not Prime). More
I came on 11/28/08 for the "Black Friday" Honda Crv special and was very happy to be the first person there, so I ended up buying it. I was looking for a new sales vehicle for our small business. Rudy met me in the lot at Prime Auto and showed me a used Honda Fit. I thought it was just what we were looking for except it had 40,000 m business. Rudy met me in the lot at Prime Auto and showed me a used Honda Fit. I thought it was just what we were looking for except it had 40,000 miles on it. So, I asked how long would it take to get a new one in white (the only color that would do for our company fleet). He said it would be tough since it is a hot car, maybe a couple of months. About a week later I got a call from Rudy "We just got in a White '09 Honda Fit". They worked out a fair price on our trade in and the rest is history... Now I have a very happy sales rep and a neet looking car to represent our company. I communicated an unusual noise during braking which revealed an minor issue with the rotors. Rudy promptly got me to make an appointment with the service department. The service department was very prompt in getting me an appointment and quickly resolved the brake problem to my satisfaction. More

In addition, I have been contacted by Mr Torstensen several times to ensure my purchase was going well, and that all my needs were met POST SALE. This is astounding. Since my purchase three months ago, I took the family on vacation to Florida in our new van, which we love. I'd highly recommend this company as they truly understand that Sales & Service go hand in hand, and I will be back again, as well as refer friends and family who are in the market for a new vehicle. I recently purchased a 2005 Acura TL from Prime Honda through your sales agent Fred Orne. Fred and your sales manager, Zach Casey, were both not only helpful but patient as well. I enjoyed my experience with Prime Honda until meeting with Mike Gibbel, the financial agent. I found that Mike was not only belittling, but rude. After my experience with Mike, I seriously considered utilizing your 30-day return policy and purchasing a vehicle elsewhere. Overall I felt that my experience with both Fred and Zach, along with what should be an exciting time(purchasing my new vehicle) should not be overshadowed by someone who loses their cool. I would still recommend Prime Honda to friends, family and acquaintances. Thank you to both Fred and Zach not only for your hard work, but your patience and professionalism as well. I reserved a 2009 Honda fit with Dave before production began on the car. He kept me updated every step of the way, from when the car was "born" to when it arrived in Saco from a half a world away. I purchased a 2003 Saab that turned out to have so many issues-and I wasn't gett highly recommend you keep her happy..."OH REALLY" Yes oh really... I purchased a 2003 Saab that turned out to have so many issues-and I wasn't getting the support and help from the service department-I went to Traciann to terminate my extended warranty-I was so angry and upset. I vented to her and she listened and was able to calm me down and discuss other options about the Saab. So that we did. But a few months later when issues surfaced again I went to the service department and was told to call Portland Saab as that's what they would have to do-well needless to say I was so angry as one of the options Traciann & I had was to bring my car to them fro service. I called Traciann and she again listened to my anger and frustration. By the next day she had managed to get me in a 2007 Honda Fit. Which I love. I so appreciated the hard work she did for me she showed me that Prime Honda does care for their customers. I recommend Traciann to anyone I know is buying a car. Traciann is a valuable employee (Ira I hope you compensate her well)-I purchased a used Saab well let's say I was taken advantage of (Jethro)-I had so many issues (electrical, locks & windows) with compensate her well)-I purchased a used Saab well let's say I was taken advantage of (Jethro)-I had so many issues (electrical, locks & windows) with it that just so happened not to be under warrantee-I stopped by the dealership one evening very upset and was going to terminate my extended warrantee-I told Traciann what I wanted to do and just let her have it she let me vent. I was so angry & she took it all from me. She was able to talk to me and calm me down and discussed other solutions with me. Which I tried. But when I called service a few months later to have them look at something I was told just call Portland Saab they would have to bring to car to them anyway-I was convinced I was sold a piece of SH**. I called Traciann and by the next day I was in a 2007 HONDA FIT. Which I love. Gas milage is awesome. Traciann had to go through hoops and ropes for me as I had a loan on the Saab anyway, she was able to manage to make me a satified customer and very Happy. I would not want to purchase another car without her assistance. So again Ira please be sure to keep her on staff she is an asset to Prime Honda. "OH REALLY" yes she is!!!!! More
