I had a Works package completed for my ford F150. which includes a 99 point inspection and topping off of all fluids. changing the oil and a tire rotation. after leaving the dealership I noticed my t which includes a 99 point inspection and topping off of all fluids. changing the oil and a tire rotation. after leaving the dealership I noticed my tail light was still not working and my washer fluid light was still on. I also had to pull over because of the smell of burning oil. I popped the hood and saw oil was spilled on my engine when refilling it. so where is this in the 99 point inspection and top off all fluids for $78. I waited 2 hours for a half done service. what eIse did they not do? will not bring my ford F150 back to this scam of a dealership. someone else will get my money and new vehicles. I wrote a letter to the company but haven’t received a response. Since it’s been two days, I thought I would try this route. I came in today to have a new front license plate holder put on my Mazda a response. Since it’s been two days, I thought I would try this route. I came in today to have a new front license plate holder put on my Mazda and to have my headlights cleaned since they were beginning to fog up. The new plate holder looks great, and I appreciate Carl ordering it and Herb installing it for me at no cost. I was prepared to pay for the part as well, but Herb generously included it, there had been a bit of a kerfuffle when I originally stopped in to order it, so I really do appreciate your staff going out of their way for me. The headlights fall under a plan I purchased from your company when I bought her, called ResistAll. I understand the company is no longer in business, but the few times I have brought her in, your company has honored the service. The problem is that I feel I must fight for the service every time I have used it. I am told it does not exist, it does not apply or there is another issue. I am glad I kept the original paperwork because I must bring it in every time. I paid $700 for the service so that I could keep my Mazda, the first car I have ever been smitten with, in pristine condition. When I brought Herb out to see the headlights the first time, he admitted they were not up to par. They were frostier than when I brought them in and there was a white film all around them. I cleaned it up, but they were still worse, so Herb took her back in. I had been there for almost five hours, so I went to look for her, saw her sitting out front and then went to find my keys at the desk. The young guy who helped me was gracious and said he was waiting for paperwork, which I already had. The lights are still not great, there is still a white film under the plastic housing and worst of all, whoever did the service, scuffed my paint around both lights. I have buffed out what I can with Meguiar’s but there are a couple I cannot get all the way out. I hate to complain but I drop my Mazda off in good faith, expecting her back in better, if not the same condition and I do not think that is unreasonable. Is the issue that it is a service I paid for years ago to a company no longer in business? Do I have such a bad reputation at your dealership that it is being done on purpose? I do not come in screaming that I want my car back in excellent shape because that is unnecessary and uncalled for. You are a professional dealership with professional people working for you. I called today to schedule an appointment to have this issue resolved and the man on the phone responded to my very polite request to speak to Herb, with, ‘I don’t see you having an appointment today.’ I may have been a little edgy when I told him that I spent five quality hours at Ira Ford in Saco this morning. I felt bad about it, but I cannot take scuff marks and patronizing in the same day. If your dealership would rather not have me as a customer any longer, I am okay with that. I would rather just know it up front. I have enjoyed many of my interactions with your staff, and you have gone beyond for me on more than one occasion. I appreciate that. Our visit to this dealer was pleasant as it can be when used car shopping. The wife and I each drove the 2020 Ford Escape that we came to test drive. I asked if the price was firm, and she said yes and made no counteroffer. I had my check book with me and ready to buy the Escape. Several months ago I had taken my Ford Ranger into Prime Ford located in Saco to have a rear window replaced under warranty. It took three trips to the dealership for them to take and get good photos of the Ford located in Saco to have a rear window replaced under warranty. It took three trips to the dealership for them to take and get good photos of the defective window which would be sent to FORD for warranty approval. A short time afterwards I was informed the window had arrived and was ready for installation. A scheduled appointment was made. Giving it some thought I decided not to have the window replaced, I did not want to chance any damage occurring to my Ranger having the current window removed and the new window installed. I canceled my appointment. I was then told by the service manager if this work was not completed within 7 days the window would be SENT BACK. I rescheduled the warranty work to be performed. Coming up to the appointment date I contacted the service department and informed them I was reluctant in having the window replaced, again, not wanting any possible damage occurring to my Ranger which was in NEW condition. I was then contacted by phone from the service manager and was told verbally that if I didn't have this work performed Prime Ford would not do any future warranty work on my Ranger. I was NOW told the the window could not be returned. A voice mail message stating the same as to future warranty work had also been left on my cell phone around the time I spoke with the service manager. I further explained to the service manager that in a earlier service performed by Prime Ford my Ranger was not taken care of as I had requested it be and this was one reason I was not going to allow them to perform the window installation. Like the Acura MDX as a car but this dealer was not forthright with me and did not appear to follow the regulations under Title 10 chapter 217 State of Maine requirements for repossessed car sale. No mention at time of of sale that car was repossessed nor did they provide statement at time of sale for me to sign. Found out repossessed when tried to register because their was a defect in title chain. (Funny carfax report did not mention either! ) At that time I requested a form to correct title and found it to be repossessed. In addition it was my strong feeling that their office suggested a little more insistently that I buy the extended warranty which I still have not received. I think even in absence of law, this was unethical not to disclose. I would not do business with this dealer again More
