My overall experience with Prime Buick GMC in Hanover was wonderful. A lot of that is thanks to Ravi Mcdonnell. I had contacted Prime when I found a Chevy Equinox online that they had for sale. From day one they were quick and efficient, and made the whole process easy for me. The internet sales manager had called and emailed me immediately after I sent them an inquiry about the car. When the car was ready for me to come look at it, I brought my dad with me. We walked in and were greeted, and upon telling them my name they knew which car I was there to look at and went to get the internet manager. She came out with Ravi, introduced us and he brought us out to the car. After checking it out, Ravi took us for a test drive and during the drive we learned that he actually was given the sale very last minute, literally right after we walked in the door. His professionalism and kindness gave us no hints at that. From the first minute we walked in, he made us feel comfortable. We ended up being at the dealership for 3 1/2 hours (Because I bought the car!) but it did not feel like that at all. Ravi showed us photos and told us about his daughter and family, which family is very important to myself and my dad. We didn't feel like he was pushing "family" on us like at previous dealerships that would always sound like they were reading from a script when bringing up family importance to us. While waiting for the sales manager at times, he showed us photos of his grandson on his computer and told us stories about his sons. We had a great time with him, and he was even nice enough to buy me some snacks from the vending machine when I had mentioned I was hungry. Everyone there explained everything to me thoroughly, made sure I was comfortable and informed, and made my first car buying experience perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My biggest thanks to Ravi, and the other employees there who stayed late to finish my paperwork and make sure everything was covered! I'm getting my car Monday and I couldn't be more excited! More
It was my first time at Prime Hanover and Matt Sorgman greeted me warmly from the initial handshake. After browsing every make and model online, reading reviews and visiting dealerships, I set my heart on greeted me warmly from the initial handshake. After browsing every make and model online, reading reviews and visiting dealerships, I set my heart on the GMC Terrain Denali and located one 45 minutes away. I knew no one at the dealership because I ha been test driving other models at the GMC locally, but after chatting with Matt for ten minutes, I received even more information about that car than I had gotten in all of my online and dealership research. Matt is extremely knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. He made me feel comfortable from the very beginning, and there was not one point where I felt pressured in any direction by him. After taking it for a test drive, I knew I wanted to purchase the car. Matt made the process easy and painless on his end and while it took a long time for paperwork he stayed with me for the duration: 2 hours after closing time! When I became agitated he went to help speed up the paperwork and when I came out of the office he was still smiling and gave me his number to call if I had any other questions. The next day there was paperwork that needed to be re-signed and Matt drove 45 minutes to my job so I could sign them and drove back to the dealership to process paperwork. Several hours later Matt graciously returned to deliver my car! I can't tell you how excited I am with my decision to purchase my first GMC with Matt. I am so thrilled with this car and would not hesitate in a second to go back to Matt at Prime Hanover, MA or refer my friends and family to him. I know when I am ready to buy my next car I will seek him out for his A+ customer service. More

TWO WEEKS AGO WE MET RAVI MCDONNELL WHEN WE WENT IN TO JUST LOOOOOK AT A GMC TERRAIN, WELL WE WERE SO IMPRESSED THAT WE PURCHASED AND PICKED UP OUR NEW GMC TERRAIN DENALI ON 8/29/13 AND WE LOVE IT. I had a real good experience at Prime. I bought a 2008 Jeep Liberty. Neal Simmons, was the salesman and he was most helpful. With help from the whole staff, I got the Registry, insurance and loan data processed so that by the time I left, I was completely set and didn't have to go wait in line at the RMV. There were no other delays or distractions. All in all it was very pleasant and I recommend them any time you need a new or used vehicle. More

My wife and I went to Prime to look at a vehicle she saw online. We were ready for an upgrade but very hesistant to make a snap decision as we were unsure if we wanted to buy or lease. After looking at the car we came to see we went inside for assistance. We were greeted by Ravi McDonnell who was very friendly and put us at ease right off the bat. We talked to Ravi about what we wanted and what our situation was and he catered everything to our needs. We decided to lease a 2013 GMC Acadia. At this point we were turned over to Jesse Bongarzone the Sales Manager. Jesse worked with us to get the deal we were comfortable with. He went back a couple of times and finally we were able to make the deal. Both my wife and I have had bad experiences buying and leasing vehicles in our day. The experience with Ravi and Jesse at Prime was our reward for that. We had a great experience and we could not be happier. In fact, Ravi handled a minor miscommunication for us is a completely professional and timely manner. His integrity proved to be beyond reproach. We were greeted by a sales person name Ravi McDonnell. We decided not to spend too much time there with my kids, they were already tired of this from the morning, I told Ravi that we did not have too much time and could not spend more than 20 minutes. He was very accommodating and said ‘not a problem’, we were looking at the Enclave.. He was very hospitable and loving with the kids, got them snacks, soda and put Nickelodeon channel to keep them occupied. He did everything very professionally including the trade appraisal, test drive, explaining about the features of the vehicle and my kids were entertained too, they did not complain like when they were at the other dealerships. When we finished everything and ready to leave, it was almost we spent an hour and half, which we did not even feel it, because of the customer service given by the sales person Ravi. We would definitely want to consider buying the Enclave because of the service we got from the sales person. My husband and myself are very happy, we will surely go back to buy from Prime.We have posteponed the new car purchase for a month or two. - Karen More

Just recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Prime. I have no complaints with the vehicle but experienced the worst post sale service. Vehicle was finalized and paid for on 6/01/13 which was a Saturday, have no complaints with the vehicle but experienced the worst post sale service. Vehicle was finalized and paid for on 6/01/13 which was a Saturday, was told by the Finance guy the car would be registered for me the following Monday or Tuesday. I didnot take delivery on the vehicle until 6/11/13. For some reason they had no clue how to register the car in Rhode Island. They put an additional 500 miles on my car by taking 4 different trips to the registry and VIN check station Each time I was told my car would be ready that day only to get a text message late in the day letting me know they failed again. Here is where they went wrong: 1st trip: Got the vin check but left too late in the day and missed the registry 2nd trip: Made it to the DMV to be told they needed forms signed by me 3rd Trip: Wnet to DMV with forms signed by me to realize they needed to be notarized 4th trip: finally registered the car but didnot inspect it because they left too late in the day They failed to realize that all they needed to do was have a limited power of attorney signed by me at time of sale and they could have registered the car in one shot. It baffles me that the finance guy, sales manager and salesman had no clue this is how an out of state transaction is done. For the inconvenience of them holding my car for 11 days while I paid insurance and interest and them putting an additional 500 miles on the car they gave me a coupon for a "free oil change" and "detail" that has to be used within 30days and they backdated the start date to 6/01...WoW way to go Prime you really know how to make things right. The most frustrating part was that I had to initiate the calls to get a status on what was going on. I was continually lied to as to what was happening. Very poor experience, go eslewhere and avoid this amateur shop. More
