We went to Inver Grove Toyota to look at a car to replace our 2003 Prius which we had enjoyed tremendously. We were thinking of trying out the Camry as we thought it would be less expensive than a new Prius our 2003 Prius which we had enjoyed tremendously. We were thinking of trying out the Camry as we thought it would be less expensive than a new Prius. Darin Wald met us at the door and was our salesman. He was pleasant, patient, easy-going, friendly, and not at all pushy. We went on a test drive, and he answered all our questions about the hybrid model as opposed to the standard model, showed us how the fancy electronics worked, etc. We went home to consider it, and then came back the next day with the intention of purchasing a Camry. As we walked in, however, we asked Darin about the Prius and learned that it is less expensive than the Camry, and of course it has fantastic mileage. He again went with us on a test drive, again answered our questions, and was tremendously helpful. And we drove home with a new Prius, which we like very much. I came in again in a day or so later to meet with Darin so that I could get my smartphone coupled with the bluetooth system, and he again was most helpful. I should also add that we got a very good value for our trade-in. We would be happy to work with Darin again and to recommend him and IGT to anyone. (The only downside in the whole experience had to do with the man who helped us with the loan. He had a hard time understanding that the car would be in my name first and then my husband's second (it's not that unusual, is it?), and he was too pushy about selling warranties, finding it hard to take no for an answer.) Our experience was very comfortable and effective.We were shopping for a replacement vehicle for my Florida home. We were there to test drive all of the vehicles today and then narrow it down to the 2 that best meet our needs. We were treated as if we were the most important customer's of the day. Mike Althoff gave us the time we needed and let us drive three different vehicles. We ended up really liking a 2010 Venza so went and got my wife to test drive it. Mike was a real professional and we bought the vehicle that day....A very positive experience with little price haggling. One of the best i have experienced. Our Journey with Toyota of Inver Grove, MN started on my birthday 1/3/13...cool numbers, right? It was a great day! We must have gone to five dealerships before entering Toyota. I wanted something really cute, small, good on gas. I was interested in the Yaris. We met Chuck Paciorek on the lot. First let me say that Chuck is not a typical "car salesman" . He LISTENS and as a result we ended up in a RAV4 with 4wheel drive! You see how good he is??? We were looking at the YARIS! He heard "good on gas, small, cute, bright color" and he delivered good on gas, perfect size for a middle age mom, SAFE (especially in Minnesota with all the snow)!!! I cannot tell you how much I love my RAV4. I really would have been disappointed with the Yaris, not because of the car itself, because I am in a time of life to need more of a car. Chuck saw that. The second part of our journey was on 4/13/13. My husband had purchased a Chrysler 200 2012 (in 2012)and while a nice car it just wasn't good in the weather. Since he had the experience of driving my RAV4 he came home one day and said I think I want a RAV4. So on 4/13/13 we had an appointment with Chuck and drove away in another RAV4! My husband is SO happy! We traded in the Chrysler and financed the rest. That brings me to the second name from the above survey. Jessica Braun handled that and she just made it FUN! She was very proficient at the paperwork, explained everything and dealt with me (I was grumpy because I was ready for lunch...I swear I am like a toddler sometimes). Thank you Chuck, Jessica and Dan the manager (he was really great too!) We will see you in a couple of years when our youngest turns 16!!! More
WOW I am still cant believe the car we bought. After my car died on 2-19-13 (Literally!) We decided to go into this dealership. He then put us in the waiting room and drove up with a 2011 Toyota Camry. We took it for a test drive.I thought there was no way we can afford this or get approved.We dont have the best of credit due to medical bills. We hve been turned down Literally by everyone. Except by those scam artists at Carhop. Within a few minutes Bruce introduced us to Paul in finance. He came through for us and got the financing we needed. I cannot tell you what it feels like when someone goes out of their way to help someone out. Within an hour we were on our way home with our car. I look out at it everyday and I smile. Thank you to Bruce and Paul for making this possible. You have customers for life! More
What a great experience to shop for and buy a new 2013 RAV4 from Darin Wald! Darin met us last week when we arrived and worked with us efficiently until we drove away with our new car. He answered our numerous (!!!) questions with solid information, showed us the service center, explained two models as we narrowed our search, took us on test drives, gave us time to consider our options and supplied us with the best deal. Inver Grove Toyota seemed to get out of their way to get us the best deal possible on our used car. We were fully expecting to come away with a different car, but were pleasantly surprised when we also got us the best deal possible on our used car. The customer service was excellent, all of our questions were answered honestly and completely, and we were never pushed into any decisions. We would definitely go to them again, and are very happy with the entire experience. More
