On my way to work this morning I have a flat tire,and took my car to discount tire because it was the closest shop ,and they told me the tire could not be repair,that I need to buy a new tire,so I did .a took my car to discount tire because it was the closest shop ,and they told me the tire could not be repair,that I need to buy a new tire,so I did .and after work I came to Inver grove Honda service dept. ,because this is the dealer ,I bought the car and I get the maintenance service,,And I always get the best service,, And I explained to Kirsten Nelson,the Manager,what had happened ,and she help me get the flat tire fix(it was repairable)and by doing that,I was able to return the new tire,(that I didn't real it need it)and get a refund from the Discount tire store,she even give me a statement that said,the tire was repairable, and that help me get the refund. Last week I contacted service Advisor Darin Demeral about a quote for tires for my 2010 Accord. Darin has been assisting me with my Accord maintenance for years. Darin provided me a quote and as usual was v a quote for tires for my 2010 Accord. Darin has been assisting me with my Accord maintenance for years. Darin provided me a quote and as usual was very helpful throughout this positive experience. I brought the car in early Saturday morning and was greeted by the same genuine Darin. Darin checked my vehicle in and I was on my way out the door for a walk. After 20 minuets I received a phone call from Darin. He explained to me that my tires weren't even 1/2 used and it wasn't necessary to replace them. Darin said that the mechanic recommended other minor repairs such as air filters and battery post cleaning. Those repairs were completed in a timely fashion. I bought my Accord new at IGH Honda over ten years ago and trust the advisors there. Darin could have sold me new tires but choose integrity instead. I haven't used any where else to service my Accord and don't plan on it ever. More
