Great experience at Inver Grove Ford. I knew what I wanted when I came in, and the staff made the buying process easy and enjoyable. I told Jim Rued that I was in a hurry and that I might have to come wanted when I came in, and the staff made the buying process easy and enjoyable. This is the second new vehicle purchased from Inver Grove Ford and Jim Rued. They are great to work with, both in purchasing a vehicle and servicing that vehicle. I was able to get all the service I required in about an hour's time. I also added on a service when I arrived. I recieved an answer of "absolutely" each time I asked for something. Jeff (Lowell) was AWESOME!!. There was absolutely no pressure to buy a car (or two). We came in to price out options for trading in two used cars and ended up leaving with two cars. He was patient in dealing with both my and my wife's specific needs for a vehicle and he accomplished that and more. Catrina (Coker) was a pleasure to work with as well. She didn't even bat an eye when it came to arranging all the paperwork for trading in two cars and buying two new cars all at once. She was helpful and knowledgeable about how to "deal" with Wells Fargo...even with one car titled in Colorado, not Minnesota. Thanks Again More
I sold my car to this dealership on 1/3/12. It was a 2010 Ford Flex with about 25,000 mles in near-perfect condition. A beautiful car. They offered me 18,000 for it. I accepted it even though I knew it was low because I was selling it because my husband just died unexpectedly; I needed the money for funeral expenses, etc., and I just was not up to haggling much or doing the work required to sell it elsewhere. I still dont have any money even tho they bought it on Jan. 3, and sold it already. I was helped by a man named Faisal who was very nice but had no authority. The used car manager stayed in his office and just shouted, "NO!" in a loud voice every time Faisal went to ask him about the price. I was trying to negotiate, but this used car manager was so rude, I gave up. I could hear him holler at Faisal all the way across the bldg. So Faisal told me they would call for the loan payoff immediately and get me a check within a few days for the remainder. I should mention that I took the car to IGH to begin with because I had received an unsolicited e-mail offering me 23,400 for the car, but when I got there, the story changed. The car was in amazing conditon. Truly. Even though they tried to tell me it wasn't. Interesting thing was that Faisal called me in a couple days and said they sold the car and wanted to know if I had the extra key. If the car needed so much attention paid to it, it's really amazing how they managed to fix it up and sell it the next day, isn't it? Initially, they told me I would have the check the same day. Another falsehood. I am still waiting for the check of several thousand dollars. I have called them three times now and they claimed they paid it off and were just waiting for the "title" from the lender to send me the check. They tried to tell me it was "illegal" for them to pay me before they got the title from the lender (although it is apparently not illegal for them to sell the car to someone else and let them take possession of it without a title and while there is still a loan outstanding on it.) WHen I called the lender today, they asked me to tell IGH Ford that interest was accruing on the loan every day and that the payment was now 12 days late. SO, on top of everything else, IGH Ford is ruining my credit. I will never do business with them again. I don't know if I will buy another Ford ever either. I don't like the idea that they allow their dealerships to treat customers in this manner. This is my third brand-new Ford in a row and I liked them all but there are other nice cars out there and hopefully the way they treat their customers is better. I'm starting to think that Denny Hecker must own this dealership. More
