I walked in to Inver Grove Ford late in the day on Saturday Nov 30th. Jim was very pleasant, showed me the car I wanted to see, even though I had been already working with Matt Westberg over the phone Saturday Nov 30th. I recently purchased a new 2012 Ford Escape from another dealership (for a better price) . While driving back and forth from work, both ways in the dark, my windshield was fogging and I couldn't see. That dealership (for a better price) . While driving back and forth from work, both ways in the dark, my windshield was fogging and I couldn't see. That evening I left a voice mail requesting a return call to set up a repair appt. I tried to reach someone 1st thing the next day...3 hours later, no response, so started to drive over to get in line for repair. Got to within 3 miles of the dealership and what appeared to be (foul-smelling) SMOKE was spewing in my face from the air vents. I pulled to the side of the road & called Inver Ford. Before I could explain my situation, I was interrupted and told that there were no service appts available. I was finally able to explain and was told again that no appts avail. I re-phrased and demanded to know who would be towing my vehicle and me into Ford and arranging for my FREE rental car...Husband out of town/no one to pick me up, let alone tow my NEW Escape. She FINALLY forwarded me to billing who gave me the number for roadside assist...in a 507 area code (Southern MN!). RA in 507 had NO CLUE where I was or where the nearest towing company was. I then received a return call from a robot telling me ( I think...cars whipping by and artificial voice impossible to interpret) that some company in the 952 area code (on the OPPOSITE side of town) would be there in 45 MINUTES. By this time I've already been standing outside (for fear my car would explode) in 40 degrees for 20 minutes...LESS THAN 3 MILES from the dealership. While I waited 3 tow trucks, from a towing company less than a mile from my location, drove past and waved to me. Finally the tow arrived. A HUGE truck w/steps beginning 3 ft up and over a fuel tank under the cab door. I'm barely 5 ft and couldn't even reach the grab bar. Me getting into this monstrosity was obviously not happening without serious injury. Tow company would not leave me stranded alone along the highway while they delivered my vehicle to Inver and sent car to pick me up...good policy, THEY care about their clients! I called Inver again to report current situation and was told that no "courtesy cars" were available with no idea when one might be. I told her "If this were MY business and I had a client stranded with a NEW vehicle, pouring smoke through the air vents, that had already been waiting in 40 degree weather for more than an hour, along side a highway, LESS THAN THREE MILES from my dealership...I would go to the show room, grab one of the sales people who are standing around with their finger in their nose, and have them drive the LESS THAN THREE MILES to pick up said client!!" I was again informed that a "courtesy car" would pick me up when one became available...GREAT "service"!! As we waited (tow truck dude and me) a Highway Patrol stopped and offered to drive me the LESS THAN THREE MILES to Inver Ford...Thanx to our MN Troopers! We were a couple of blocks from Inver when I then received a call from a salesman stating that he would come pick me up. I told him "Great idea!!! Wish I would have thought of it....wait, I DID!!" Time from when I first pulled to side of road and when I arrived at Inver Ford LESS THAN THREE MILES away: More than TWO HOURS!!! Yeah, Inver Grove Ford and "Service"...uhhh, Not so much!!! I came here to write this as no one has contacted me regarding my "experience"...imagine that! I hope this gets out, but am not holding my breath, nor should you if you choose to select Inver Grove Ford for your "service" needs." Good Luck and may God be with you if you do. More
Very recently I purchased a used vehicle. I had a question about an issue with the vehicle and the paperwork. I spoke with Chad, who was very gracious about the issue with the paperwork. I then spoke question about an issue with the vehicle and the paperwork. I spoke with Chad, who was very gracious about the issue with the paperwork. I then spoke with someone in service, but our conversation left me confused. I went to the dealership to speak with someone in person, and was approached by R.J. Johnson. After speaking with him at length about the service issue, I feel confident that the problem has been resolved, and I left the dealership feeling much better than when I went there. R.J. was very accommodating in helping to resolve the problem, and my trust in the dealership was restored. More

Chad was patient in answering questions about dollars and cents. Also kudos to Andy and Ed for being such decent people, and thanks to Tammy for explaining the options without pressuring me. Thanks also to the exceptionally fine receptionist: you are the first person seen by the public, and your skills and manners speak volumes. Thanks to all for making my car-buying experience so positive. Thanks to me for paying cash. ;-) More
This was the easiest and most efficient car experience we have ever had. The dealership ran very efficiently on a BUSY Saturday on a holiday weekend, Veterans Day. have ever had. The dealership ran very efficiently on a BUSY Saturday on a holiday weekend, Veterans Day. More
Andy was great to work with. He was friendly and helpful throughout the process. I think it was Catrina that I worked with on all the red tape and paper signing when I came in to pick up the car.
