Simple and common Sync 3 processor replacement had me using a very bad system for over a month while they waited for a courtesy vehicle even though Ford would have been on contract to rent a vehicle. It took 2 attempts to fix, the first they thought a software update would fix an obvious hardware issue. They tried to charge the extended warranty deductible the second time I brought it in to be fixed, even though they failed to fix it the first time. Although they didn't charge the amount in the end, it felt very scammy to have the charge there in the first place, as an expectation I wouldn't argue and they'd get an extra $100. Art did okay overall but could have pushed the rental vehicle to get the very bad system replaced sooner. For Ford, they should be offering to replace the Sync 3 system with something that actually works. Sync 3 is the worst feature of any car I've ever driven or owned. More

I own a 15 ford focus they have a issue with the transmission control module Ford has issued a extended warranty for these parts. Summer of 2023 100,000 miles on the car the tcm started acting up while my wife was driving, after digging through the trenches of the interwebs I found the tcm warranty and also found that there was none to be found dealerships had none parts warehouse had none. We parked the car for the summer but when winter came around and my motorcycle was not an option in Colorado winter. I found a video showing how to reset the transmission did so and drove the car for winter. Spring-Summer 24 hit the car did fine for a while temps got hotter and then the problem was back. I rode the bike for a while but knew I needed to get her car back in working order. I found the Tcm's had found there way back to the shelfs I called and spoke with Jerry in parts he said they had 20 of them. He then asked if I knew about the warranty and said he would have service to call me right back. MarryJo called within 5 minutes and had an appointment set for the car. I had to drop the car off a day earlier on Tuesday do to work. Wednesday MarryJo called said car was done tcm was bad warranty covered all. She then told me about a small leak in the coolant tank. I told her to have it replaced and I would wait. Thursday 4:35pm MarryJo called said car was done repairs been done. Friday I picked up the car brought it home wife drove it Friday through the weekend said it drove like it did when we first bought it. Monday came we had errands to run got home and I noticed a puddle in the driveway the coolant tank had blown a plug and leaked all the coolant. I called Tuesday being the dealership was closed when this happened MarryJo respond via text I told her the problem sent pictures and informed her we lived 75 miles away. She set an appointment with there mobile services. Israel from mobile service just left my house after fixing a very simple fix and filling the tank. Over all these guys have gone above and beyond Jerry having the part knowing the known issue passing me to MarryJo and Israel for driving 75 miles to replace a plug and top off the tank. More
