I would like to respond to this review as it very inaccurate depiction of the true events. This customer is attacking the integrity and reputation of our store including the staff who take a lot of pride in providing customer service. We did sell a 2004 Suburban to Samantha with 187,000 miles on it on March 14th. Sometime after the sale the customer did contact our service department regarding some oil leaks. Our advisor remembers speaking with the customer, and her recollection is that she told the customer she would need to check with the sales department and would follow up with her. Our advisor said she had to leave a message with customer to call back and we would schedule her in to inspect the vehicle. Our advisor said she never heard back from the customer. More importantly, I spoke with the customer after they had taken the Suburban to another repair facility and they were told it would cost approximately $2000 to repair the oil leaks. I did tell the customer that we would not particpate in any repairs, at it is our policy to have the customer sign two "as is" forms. One, being the standard federal form, and the second form is our own "As Is" that states do not purchase this vehicle if you are under any impression that Interstate Ford will pay for any repairs. Our as is form also states "We encourage you to take this "As Is" vehicle and have it inspected, at your expense, by an outside source before you decide to purchase it. We have our "As Is" form signed only when the vehicle is over 10 years old, or when the mileage is extremely high. All used cars offerred for sale must pass a safety inspection prior to delivery and this unit did pass. I did ask the customer to bring the Suburban in so that we may inspect and verify the repairs. The customer then asked me why should she bring the vehicle in if Interstate Ford wasn't going to cover the cost to repair. There is no question, my answer was very clear, I told her that if I could verify the problem that I would give her their money back and repurchase the Suburban. I asked if she could bring it in so our service department could inspect the vehicle, that she did not need an appointment, and asked if she could bring it by within the next few days. I, also, informed two sales managers of my offer to repurchase the unit in the event I was not at work the day she came in. Needless to say, the customer never came in and I did not hear from the customer until I saw her review that was posted. Mike Held General Manager

I was told by jarrod that all maintenance was done and which is why there was no room to move in the price as it was over priced by over $800 per car gurus. I had noted the sound of the power steering and the rough sound of the turning and the exact words from jarrod was that it was a Chevy thing. I ho early thought that the people from this dealership could be trusted by their word. I was never offered to take it to a separate mechanic which I had no problem doing as I had taken it to the Chevy dealership as recommended to my husband by the service department. When I called several times to service and did not receive a call back from them when I gave the number to front desk person for them to call me as they did not pick up the phone. I called and asked to speak to mike the General manager because I did take it to the Chevy dealership and they had found over $2000 if problems with this suv. I was told to bring it back yes so your service department could “verify” the issues and if they were actual issues then you would buy it back for the $6000 I paid but nothing more which I had put more money into than that because of some other issues like the heater not working In the back of the suv and the passenger window motor and regulator not working. So I would be out of money for repairing those. Which really isn’t the big scheme of things. The reason for not bringing it back was the fact that I was lied to in the beginning and told all maintence was done and then when questioned was told it’s a Chevy thing! And I honestly feel the service people or the people that I had contacted were not going to be honest per prior experience and if your service department had missed all these problems and not noted them like the power steering lines, power steering pump, wheel bearing and hubs(a safety issue as this can cause the wheels to fall off) and the main seals leaking a ton of oil, the transfer case needing to be rebuilt and the front differential needing to be replaced. How would they verify those issues actually where valid and I took to a different shop than the one that had initially looked at it. I have ate my loses and will never Congo back or recommend this dealership.
