This place is a joke. I brought my Explorer in to fix the touch screen and the service advisor, Allen Maillet gladly took the keys to the vehicle. I told him what was wrong, who the extended warranty company touch screen and the service advisor, Allen Maillet gladly took the keys to the vehicle. I told him what was wrong, who the extended warranty company was and what dealership I purchased the vehicle from. He explained that it would be a $139 service charge (which the dealership I bought the vehicle from was going to pay). After a few hours he called and told me that the insurance company wanted to offer $40 less than what he was going to charge, so he didnt want to do it... I immediately offered to pay the remaining $40 so he could order the part and I could get my vehicle back. His response was, "yeah, I am not going to do that, or work with that warranty company" After that I got in touch with my original dealership who had talked to this Allen guy, and they explained to me that he told them that he just didnt want to do the extra paperwork, but yet he still expected the $139 service fee. I called O'Meara Ford, explained the whole situation and they basically said, "Absolutely! We will get this taken care of for you." Long story short, Allen is an absolutely LAZY worthless employee, and he and Interstate Ford are a bunch of thieves ! I would think long and hard before I give these guys any of your business! If this is how they treat a service call, their must treat their full customers like dog xxxx, ya know, because of all the paperwork.... More

After hearing the bad experience that my father inlaw had in the Interstate Ford’s Service Department he has asked me if I would leave a review on his behalf. I will start off by telling anyone who is readin in the Interstate Ford’s Service Department he has asked me if I would leave a review on his behalf. I will start off by telling anyone who is reading this my father inlaw is that kind old man who has always picked up a dozen donuts for the employees before entering a service department. This is not a bad review of how he was treated in the service department by an advisor, a review on the cost of a service, this review isn’t even on the amount of time that was spent in the service department. This is a review on the poor quality of service, attention to important details and the concern this is going to happen to other customers if this problem goes on un addressed. My father in laws previous visit to Interstate Ford resulted in a wheel left loose by the Service Department and had damaged the wheel studs and lug nuts. He was issued a loaner while they made the repairs and he had just thought the experience was just a mistake that could happen in any service department. On this visit for a second time the wheel was once again left loose. My father in law and wife didn’t make it very far from the Service Department before they could feel the shake and hobble of a loose wheel. When they returned to the service drive my wife got out and inspected the wheels until she came to one that she was able to remove the lug nut by hand, gave it to a service advisor. They then had the intentions of driving the vehicle to a lift unit my wife kindly pointed out that the wheel was loose enough it could fall off and further damage the vehicle. Then with no jack or anything to lift the wheel off the ground to ensure it was going to be properly secure to the vehicle they brought a tool out to once again improperly tighten the wheel. The technician then drove the vehicle to the back to re- inspect his work. After I heard of my father in laws experience and having spent over a decade in the dealership before going to a private company I decided it would be best to reinspect the work myself. As you will see in the photos I will post with this review the lug nuts went from loose to over torqued, distorting and damaging every lug nut on the vehicle. I couldn’t even begin to describe how tight every wheel was. If my father in law had a flat or any other need for removing his wheel he would’ve been left stranded with how maliciously tight the wheels were after being re-torqued. Furthermore while I was inspecting the damage to my father in laws vehicle I also came across one of the recommended repairs. “ Customers Shock Leaking” The shock was not leaking and this would have been an unnecessary repair at my father in laws expense. I am sorry to write such a lengthy review but I wanted to address my safety concerns to any other customers before they choose to use Interstate Ford. More
Interstate Ford has been a great place for me to take my 2003 F-250 diesel truck for services to get me driving again! I was scheduled and the vehicle repaired as I was told it would be. I really like to receive the information about what was needed and a very true estimate of the time needed to complete the service.
