Cautionary tale Just bought third vehicle from this dealership. Traded in a 2016 Outback that had less than 60000 miles. Unfortunately the car had been in a serious accident even though it had been gar dealership. Traded in a 2016 Outback that had less than 60000 miles. Was told at the time that because of the frame damage to the car (which had been repaired) they would be unable to sell the car and that it must go to auction. Therefore they offered an extremely low price for the vehicle. We foolishly accepted. Days later, the same car is offered for sale on their lot for $9000 more than they paid us for the car. Two takeaways from this situation: First, don’t believe a word these guys say. Make sure you get detailed input from another dealer before you accept any offer. I was told “that’s the car business”. Wonder why everybody hates dealing with car salesmen? Second, if after reading this you are considering buying a used car from these guys, Beware!!!!! Take any car you are considering to a reputable mechanic for a thorough inspection. Otherwise you might end up with one that has frame damage. Consider yourself warned about International Subaru of Orland Park!! More
