I have always bought “American”! Dodge Dart, Dodge Aspen, Chevy Corvette, Ford Mustang, Pontiac Bonneville, Buick Skylark Gran Sport, etc. Then the Mister saw a four year old BMW Dodge Dart, Dodge Aspen, Chevy Corvette, Ford Mustang, Pontiac Bonneville, Buick Skylark Gran Sport, etc. Then the Mister saw a four year old BMW on a lot and he talked me into a test drive. (He’s had foreign company cars for years; Lexus, Audi, etc.) Well, I was hooked! And it’s really been wonderful for me to have the peace of mind knowing that International Autos is quite experienced at serving foreign cars. I’m just a southside Milwaukee Polish gal, used to my local mechanic at the corner gas station, the mechanic who lives across the alley from my childhood home and the mechanic/friend from church with his own auto shop in St. Francis. I must say that I was not looking forward to the expense of maintaining a BMW but I have always taken care of my cars well and wasn’t about to change that good habit. My Polish/Lithuanian/Russian Dad not only had a passion for cars, he also took very good care of whatever cars he owned. Usually old beaters purchased used to accommodate raising five children. Not until we were on our own did he gravitate back to cars if his youth; Lincoln Continental, unmarked high powered ex-police/sheriff’s vehicles and various other high powered cars. Also always bought used. I’ve inherited that passion from him and have had his diligence for car care instilled in me from a very young age. All that being said, IA has given my BMW great service; along with personable staff. Always willing to explain BMW foreign “oddities”, research answers to my questions that don’t always have simple answers and generally give me a level of confidence that I am indeed getting my money’s worth. I would not hesitate to recommend IA. I find IA to be professional, knowledgeable and customer service oriented. A real bonus for me was the invite to test drive the new electric BMWs at the little track set up at State Fair Park earlier this month. That was A LOT of fun! Also very informative as to the great strides made with these electric vehicles. I realize electric shall be THE car of the future but since I’m partial to powerful cars with high HP, I’ve been reluctant to consider owning a “wimpy” electric car. Well, my eyes have been opened. I won’t be acquiring one anytime soon; not until more if the glitches are worked out. But I definitely will be watching all the progress being made. Oh, one last thing…your waiting area is very comfortable. I especially like the espresso machine and both the healthy AND unhealthy snacks you provide!
