Unexpected Customer Service and Value I live in Chicago and have always bought gently used cars - who wants to pay the new-car price and eat the depreciation? That being said, it is usual I live in Chicago and have always bought gently used cars - who wants to pay the new-car price and eat the depreciation? That being said, it is usually a tough search to find the vehicle with the correct colors and options when looking for a 3-to-5 year old vehicle in good condition. I used to purchase used cars from new car dealerships because I thought the people were nicer and the dealership was more trustworthy. I finally found the car I wanted, at a great price, and it was at a USED car dealership 200 miles away in Indianapolis. I thought to myself "Well now I have to be careful because it's a long distance purchase AND it's a used car dealership. And how can this be almost $2000 below what others are asking for similar vehicles? WHAT IS GOING ON?" Let me tell you, I was mistaken. This was one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. The sales manager was a true gentleman - redefining the image of used car sales. The first time I called, gave me all the information I needed, including a free CarFax. Then he went out (in the rain) to get specific pictures of the car I requested. Later in the week, he drove the car to a local shop for a PPI and sent me the report. He was more like an TRANSACTION CONCIERGE, rather than a sales manager. He even gave me his personal mobile number in case I had questions off-hours. After working with Dmitry for about a week to get all the paperwork in order, I felt completely comfortable with my decision to travel to Indy and drive the car back to Chicago. Dmitry picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealership. In Chicago, used car dealerships can be shady. This place was more like a high-end car exchange. Audi A7, BMW 550i, all kinds of Mercedes, Land Rovers, and Infiniti - it was a car lover's paradise. The showroom was like a museum of beautiful cars at prices I could actually afford. I couldn't believe it. I almost changed my mind and bought something else - it was like being in an affordable candy store. We even test drove one of my dream cars (Supercharged Audi A7 Quattro) while we were waiting for the final paperwork and temporary plates to be processed. Holy crap I wish I lived closer - and he said that people fly in to buy cars from him from all over the country because of the prices and the service. This was hands-down one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. I recommend to anyone from anywhere in North America. You can find the best cars made in the world, at prices that normal people can afford. I'd give the place 6 stats if I could. Thanks Dmitry for great service and a beautiful car - I'll see you again in about a year! More
