My experience I recently visited European Masters because I found them on cargurus. They had a car that I was looking for so I drove over 100 miles to check it out I recently visited European Masters because I found them on cargurus. They had a car that I was looking for so I drove over 100 miles to check it out. I saw the high dealer rating and checked bbb to see that they had an A+ rating with them. My experience was much like the few negative reviews that I read. First, the fine print is you only get the internet price if you finance with them. Strike one. Then after negotiating a price which seem too easy we agreed to a deal. The finance guy Kevin V. writes up the contract. We asked about the $482 documentation fee and the $695 dealer prep fee. We were told that the dealer prep fee was the max NYS allows dealers to charge to recondition cars even though they spent much more on it. (Strike two) Big LIE and in fact the for the documentation fee NYS charges max $80 for license and registration $21 for inspection that means $321 for dealer processing fee for filing the application. The dealer Delivery and prep fee was just nonsense almost $700. This is why they were so eager to give me $1000 off because they tacked it on in the back end. (Strike three) I just hope that they deal with people more honorably because people work hard for their money. Don’t take advantage of them. People will pay fairly for a good deal. More

Unprofessional, untruthful, shady operation After inquiring online about the availability of a specific car, I received a follow-up phone call from Trina wanting to schedule a "priority test dri After inquiring online about the availability of a specific car, I received a follow-up phone call from Trina wanting to schedule a "priority test drive" and texts from Paul inquiring what time I could come in as well. After some initial correspondence back and forth, I let them know that I would get back to them with a time I could come in. I later responded to Paul's text with a time that I could be there and received no reply and then called back Trina and got a recorded message and left a voicemail. I figured they were busy and since their latest messages to me were only an hour or two prior, I did not think there would be an issue if I showed up at 5:30 pm. It would have been understandable if I arrived and they could not assist me right away, but it was infuriating after driving 50 miles and an hour and twenty minutes when I was told that they had two Mercedes GLE450s recently but the last one was sold a couple of days ago. I informed the people helping me that I was interested in only one car with specific features and that Trina and Paul had both communicated to me about scheduling a priority test drive for that day just hours ago and I showed them the voicemail transcripts from Trina and the texts from Paul. Only the receptionist apologized, the salesperson kind of shrugged and was uninterested and the sales manager hid in his office after peeking out the shade and seeing I was a bit pissed. Their combined reactions were very telling and made it clear that this is how they operate on a routine basis...anything to get you in the door. Shame on me for not being more cautious, but I recently had so many good interactions with both new and used car dealerships that I guess I let my guard down. I was naive to think that these stone age car selling tactics were no longer being employed by shady operations like this one. More

They STEAL your CREDIT I applied here and next thing I see is that my credit is being run at different places, not just for auto but I am getting letters about applying for I applied here and next thing I see is that my credit is being run at different places, not just for auto but I am getting letters about applying for bank loans, opening bank accounts, credit card applications etc. This was the ONLY place I applied for a loan in a long time and it all started to happen within 2 weeks of applying here. They did seem shady when I walked in, never knew it was this bad. Need to call on the cops on these guys!! More
