What a wonderful experience we had at Imperial Ford! I had seen vehicle on their website that I was interested in and was referred directly to Lynda Glassey, being told that we would be in good hands. Lynda reached out to me immediately and set up a time that worked for me. I went at night by myself to look at the vehicle I was interested in and determined that it was not the best fit for me so Lynda asked me what I was looking for in a vehicle and spent 2 hours in the cold night air showing me every vehicle she thought I would like. I decided to go back the next morning with my husband so he could see what I was looking at and help me decide what my next action would be. As soon as we arrived the next day Lynda was right there welcoming us. Once we had found a vehicle that we liked she made sure to walk us through all of the vehicle's features, made sure we had a test drive that was long enough to try the vehicle in different situations and speeds and she was waiting outside for us when we got back. We decided to run the numbers and there was no haggling at all. Not only did the numbers work out of the new vehicle but we got more back for our trade than we expected! On a recommendation from a family member, we worked with Tom D'Andrea at Imperial Ford and couldn't be happier. This was our first time at this dealership and we were interested in a specific F150 they had Tom D'Andrea at Imperial Ford and couldn't be happier. This was our first time at this dealership and we were interested in a specific F150 they had in stock. When we arrived at the dealership, Tom met us outside, had the truck ready for our test drive, took some info from us, handed us the keys, and said "have fun". Upon our return to the dealership, he again came out and met us at the truck, asked if we had any questions then simply let us look the truck over some more at our own pace. Once inside at his desk, there was no pressure at all. We reviewed pricing, trade-in, discounts, financing, and any additional questions we may have had then he left us to decide. We decided to buy the truck and Tom got the process started since it was busy in the dealership that day causing a slight delay in sitting with the Business Manager to complete the financing and purchase. As we waited, Tom sat with us the whole time, explaining the history, the many different makes, car detailing, gas station, and even a diner all under the Imperial name. Being from out of state, Tom explained the process for registering and transferring plates through the Connecticut DMV which would not allow us to drive away with our new truck on that day. Within about a week or so, the dealership made an appointment with CT DMV for the registration and plate transfer and delivered the truck right to our house. If you have not been to Imperial Motors, it is an impressive dealership with many makes under its name all located at the same location along with some additional perks, it's worth checking out. As we did all of this during the current pandemic, we felt safe with social distancing being observed, hand sanitizers available, and only us in the truck during the test drive but unfortunately we were not able to experience the diner on the property - so we'll have to go back and try it. We would definitely recommend Imperial and Tom D'Andrea to anyone looking for a vehicle. More
