Timing is everything. I had an appt. for 12:00 to see Timing is everything. I had an appt. for 12:00 to see a beautiful car I'd been looking at online at Imperial's website for three days. But, I could Timing is everything. I had an appt. for 12:00 to see a beautiful car I'd been looking at online at Imperial's website for three days. But, I couldn't wait until noon - I really wanted to see this car, and knew because of the price (it was part of their red tag sale) that it would go fast. Sure enough, there it was...ready for a test drive, but for someone else...my heart dropped. It was then Steve Miller came over and introduced himself. He saw me looking at the car, and saw my excitement. I told him this was the car I wanted - but was I too late, as someone else was taking it out? No, it's not too late...you're more than welcome to take it out for a ride, he said...and we did. And I bought it!!! A BIG thank you to Steve for stepping in just at the right time, and for his help! - and thank you also to Ahmad for helping to make it affordable for me. I am SO happy - and am still in shock that it's mine!! This is the second car I've purchased at Imperial, and look forward to purchasing future vehicles here. If I had arrived 30 seconds later, it may not have been mine. Again, timing is everything.... THANKS, STEVE!!! :-) More
This company sold my elderly parents a car for more than $10,000 over blue book value. They took advantage of them and will not return my call or email. Unethical and totally disgusting! Had I been in $10,000 over blue book value. They took advantage of them and will not return my call or email. Unethical and totally disgusting! Had I been in the area when the purchased the car, I would have talked them out of it! Pure evil. More
If you advertise a vehicle on-line or in the paper you should honor the price. It should be a no hassle purchase. Especially where we left the dealership and drove 20 miles down the road and purchased t should honor the price. It should be a no hassle purchase. Especially where we left the dealership and drove 20 miles down the road and purchased the same vehicle in 60 minutes. Imperial needs to not advertise their cars or learn how to stand by their prices that are promoted on-line and in the paper. Will not be back. More
Brought my Chevy Malibu in for engine light staying on. Told them car was running fine. They found my gas cap off (just sitting there inside the gas-cap door) and charged me $50 because they said they had Told them car was running fine. They found my gas cap off (just sitting there inside the gas-cap door) and charged me $50 because they said they had to run it through the diagnostic procedure. And friendly Frank stated this was the 3rd or 4th gas cap found off that week! So you would think they would automatically check that first and call it a day instead of ripping me off $50? And said they could have charged me for the full hour of service!! Yeah--to help finance the fancy showroom and waiting area complete with food bar and ginormous t.v. screen! Gotta say, though, friendly Frank made it less painful to fork over a week's worth of gas in my car....haha-with the cap off! More
I went to this dealership just to browse for a car. Was not ready to purchase that day. The first salesmen we dealt with was down at the Ford section of the dealership. He was just downright negative and r not ready to purchase that day. The first salesmen we dealt with was down at the Ford section of the dealership. He was just downright negative and rude. He did not listen to anything that I wanted or was looking for in a car and just kept showing me random things, nothing that I was interested in at all or in my price range. So we walked down the whole dealership and ended up at the Chevrolet section. We were looking at SUVs and got bombarded by the salesmen. He basically forced this car at me, made me drive it, then somehow we were in the showroom at his desk discussing numbers. We kept repeating we were not interested in buying that day and he just kept spitting out random numbers and prices/payments, etc. I had no idea where he was getting these numbers from..just kept discussing price, how its the lowest he can go, etc. My head was spinning and we left completely confused. I left the dealership and came back a few days later, to go thru the same process. Discussing the price for hours and numbers not making any sense. The guy was trying to tell me it was a "New" car because it was not registered.but it was a demo, with 6000 miles. But it is not New if it has been driven and has 6000miles on it. the price that they were starting at for this so called "new" car was downright ridiculous for what it was. I dont know much about cars but I had been doing my research as far as prices for certain vehicles...This was not a pleasant experience at all. Especially when this is an investment for me and spending a lot of money. The whole process took way too long and they were just rude and too intense for me. Very abrasive. I ended up getting the Chevy Equinox because we talked them down enough in price, but i would not go back there for another vehicle... not a great buying experience. More
I went to this dealership looking for a used or new Equinox. Our salesman was OK but the sales manager, Bruce was something else. He was loud and abrasive. He came over to negotiate a price with us on Equinox. Our salesman was OK but the sales manager, Bruce was something else. He was loud and abrasive. He came over to negotiate a price with us on a used vehicle we were interested in. I told him what I was looking to pay and he went on and on about the price and it was too low and he can't lose money etc. Now, we are at a desk in the middle of the showroom when he loudly knocks us down. I started looking around to see if people were looking at us. We finally agreed on a price pending a test drive etc that needed to be done at another time( and that is another story). I came back a couple of days later to purchase that vehicle and had another encounter with Bruce. We asked for our deposit back and walked out. Unfortunately for our salesman, he lost a sale due to this rude sales manager. Lucky for me the next day I went to another Chevrolet dealer and purchased a 2012 Equinox with everything I wanted and received great professional service. Two days later I picked up my Equinox and I love it! More
Corvette Went in for routine concern (still under bumper to bumper warrenty mind you) and was charged a diagnostic fee and dealership refused to repair roof panel and diffential which both have TSB's. Custo to bumper warrenty mind you) and was charged a diagnostic fee and dealership refused to repair roof panel and diffential which both have TSB's. Customer Service stated none were covered under warrenty. The dealership that sold the car laughed and fixed it no problem (I just had to drive a little farther) warrenty was confirmed by GM customer service. I feel as if this dealership tried to rip me off because cash work pays them more then warrenty. On a previous occasion I purchased a 2006 GTO from Imperial and a month later it went in for warrenty work at there shop. Imperial fixed issue under warrenty then a few weeks later attempted to charge me for the service. Overall a very poor service department and I will never use them again. I tried to be brief but trust me this place is a racket. More
I had a bad experience at Imperial. I was held hostage for 3-1/2 hours and left there tired, hungry, confused and in my vehicle. After looking at 4 or 5 different trucks I decided on one. I had a set amou for 3-1/2 hours and left there tired, hungry, confused and in my vehicle. After looking at 4 or 5 different trucks I decided on one. I had a set amount of money to spend and told the salesman what that amount was. After going back and forth for a while about price of course he had to check with his manager who had to check with his manager which took about 1-1/2 hours. Finally after agreeing on a price ($1,500 more then I planned) I signed the agreement. The salesman proceeded to take my license plate off my truck and put it on the new truck. Meanwhile I sat down with the finance guy who told me I needed to bring a check in for $8,000 more then I agreed on. I guess they can use the term "+ Trade" anyway they want. In this deal "+ trade" meant my payoff was not added into the sales price. Then after I left the finance guy I spoke with the manager and he looked dumbfounded. He broke out his calculator again and told me if he sells this truck for that he would loose $2,500. That didn't stop them from bringing more trucks to me and saying "how about this one?" After all this I saw one I might be interested in. The Manager gave me a price on it and used "+trade" again but this time my payoff was added in. I asked him why "+ trade" this time means something different. Once again he looked dumbfounded and broke out his calculator. That's when I walked out and had to wait for my license plate to be put back on. More
I am very disapponted with this dealership. I was quoted a price and incentives but when I went to purchase the vehicle, down to last signature, the old bait and switch was used. They also use the old tact a price and incentives but when I went to purchase the vehicle, down to last signature, the old bait and switch was used. They also use the old tactic of listening in via the phone line. What I mean by that is we busted the finance guy opening up the line in his office so that others could listen in to what was going on. Of course this was obvious when we could hear the phone in an another office ringing on his phone. I asked him what was going on and he quickly picked up the phone and hung it up. I got my deposit back and left. I wouldn't buy a car here if you paid me! Very pretty showroomk though. Makes you wonder how they afford such nice dealerships. Don't waste your time go some place reputable. More
This is my second new car purchased from Imperial Chevrolet in the past two years. In both instances the service, from everyone that I dealt with was friendly and informative. The staff was extremely Chevrolet in the past two years. In both instances the service, from everyone that I dealt with was friendly and informative.
