Oil Change on 2012 Frontier I had taken my 2012 Frontier in for an oil change and had told the service writer that I had taken splash shield off from under the engine and cleaned I had taken my 2012 Frontier in for an oil change and had told the service writer that I had taken splash shield off from under the engine and cleaned it and the frame of spilt oil from previous oil changes and reinstalled it. He assured me that they would not make a mess. After I got home I checked under the hood and found oil all over the splash shield and frame and oil had dripped on the garage floor. Kevin said that the mechanic had tried to clean it when he was done and that I could bring the truck back and they would clean the oil off. I decided to do the work my self and to do the future oil changes myself. The convenience of them doing an oil change is not worth the cleanup work I have to do after they are done. More
