Air Conditioning Compressor and Line Repairs Dave O'Connell was extremely helpful in getting my A/C repaired. The compressor needed to be replaced first, but after that only fixed the issue for a Dave O'Connell was extremely helpful in getting my A/C repaired. The compressor needed to be replaced first, but after that only fixed the issue for a day, the service folks at Ideal determined that the hoses throughout the entire length of the vehicle would also have to be replaced. Obviously, this was no small job. A problem that occurred was the timing of the needed repair coincided with with UAW strike, so obtaining parts was difficult. Dave kept in touch with me over the weeks that we had to wait on parts and scheduled an appointment once the parts were obtained. The actual service was completed in the time promised. I was extremely happy with the service from Ideal and Dave, and it is very nice to have a/c again. More
Continuous Problem We continue to have problems with our Hyundai Tucson with no resolution. When the car first accelerates, it jumps forward and hesitates to accelerate We continue to have problems with our Hyundai Tucson with no resolution. When the car first accelerates, it jumps forward and hesitates to accelerate. I was driving the Tucson yesterday and was almost T-Boned because when I pushed the gas the Tucson hesitated into oncoming traffic. It’s unsafe to drive! And after 3 service appointments, still no resolution!! We’re paying 500$ per month for a new vehicle that is not safe to drive. Will not purchase another Hyundai!! And wish we wouldn’t have wasted our money on this one !!! More

I had a flat tire down the street from Ideal and stopped in I had a flat tire and since the 2016 Hyundai Elantra does not have a spare donut tire and only a fix a flat. Worst service experience EVER Poor communication. Unfriendly staff. Repairs took quite a bit longer than originally promised due to wrong parts ordered TWICE. Rental was close to mileage and was told I had to drive An hour again to switch rentals so not go over 5000 miles or pay for excess mileage even though it was not my fault wrong parts were ordered TWICE! Marty was less then helpful and very unfriendly and basically told me nothing they can do. More
