Lied to and disrespected AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. I purchased a $65k truck from this dealership that has a massive problem with the driver's seat; there are ext AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. I purchased a $65k truck from this dealership that has a massive problem with the driver's seat; there are extremely hard objects that push up through the cushion, making the truck completely awful to drive. The attitude from the start has been that it's not their problem, and that I'm essentially wasting their time. In their mind, once you drive off the lot, you are no longer their concern. Have a problem? Good luck getting anything approaching reasonable service. Their clown of a service manager, Marty Harlow, is an absolute waste of a human. This jerk will tell you he's going to do one thing, then doesn't do it, and when pressured, finally admitted that my problem "had nothing to do with him". If any future employers are googling Marty Harlow, I would strongly advise you against hiring somebody who blatantly lies and disrespects customers, and flat out tells them "this isn't his problem". The first time he lied to me, he told me he would reach out to the GM rep and I would hear from him by the end of the day. A week later, I contacted him for a followup, and he told me that he forgot to call me, but that GM said they wouldn't help. Most likely story? He never called GM in the first place and was hoping I would just go away. So, because I was so dissatisfied, I went into the dealership and spoke with the general manager. HIs attitude was more reasonable, and he scheduled an appointment with the GM rep (more indication that Marty wasn't being truthful with me). I met with the GM rep and Marty, and they ultimately decided that they would need to talk to GM's TAC (Technical Assistance Center) to see if the objects could be removed, and if so what the process was. They told me this process would take some time, so I gave them three weeks before contacting them again. Marty proceeds to tell me that he "thought he called me back" and that "GM won't help me". I asked him for the TAC ticket number so that I could independently verify that he did in fact open a case, and then suddenly the story changed again. Now, the story is that within an hour of me leaving, the GM rep told him "GM won't do anything". I'm supposed to believe that? I'm supposed to believe he just forgot to call me in the intervening three works, I'm supposed to ignore that he didn't do what he promised, TO MY FACE, by failing to call TAC to see what's possible? FInally, when I pointed out that he lied to me twice, he started getting angry with me and let slip the most telling phrase at all: "This isn't even my problem." That's Ideal in a nutshell, once you drive off the lot, you're not even their problem anymore. If you read this and still do business with them, you have nobody to blame but yourself when you find yourself in my shoes. Go anywhere else. More

Ken was friendly, not pushy, and he is extremely knowledgeable about cars and the the car buying industry. The buying process was easy and all the staff we worked with were experienced and courteous. Ken and the financing staff worked to give us a great loan that made it affordable for us to purchase the vehicle we wanted. Ken was very upfront about the process and the cost, there were no last minute surprise fees or anything like that. I highly recommend working with Ken Cooper at Ideal in Frederick. I will be going back there for our future car buying needs. More
