I went in with a pretty firm idea of what I wanted in a car and I had done a lot of research on Consumer Reports and other sites. I appreciated that Joe did not waste my time trying to upsell me a lot of t car and I had done a lot of research on Consumer Reports and other sites. I appreciated that Joe did not waste my time trying to upsell me a lot of things I didn't want or need. He definitely let me know all the options but I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I was basically buying this car unexpectedly (my previous Honda had been totaled). When I mentioned that a friend had recently bought a Honda Fit from them, Joe told me that I could get $100 off the price of the car for mentioning the referral. That was an unexpected bonus. I was recommended to this particular dealership by my mechanic, who told me that this was the place to buy a Honda, which is the "Why" I chose Dick Ide. One does not "choose" a salesperson. I bought my car at the end of the year, a busy time to be sure, and Brad and the other salespersons were busy. I gave the ratings that I did that despite all of the activity during my visits, I felt that I received the appropriate amount of attention. Of course we would all like to be the only person in the showroom, but that's not realistic, nor desirable for the seller! So one shares the salesperson with others and that's the way it is. This is a personal observation and by no means a complaint. I did feel some pressure to do a video, but since I was pleased with my purchase and the experience overall, I went along with it. More

We have a 2007 Honda Odyssey and have always brought it to Dick Ide to have it serviced. We have been pleased with prompt service and easy scheduling. I just decided to write the review after our last visit for a NYS inspection on 11/30/12. On this day she did what she normally does; gets to us asap; gets us in and out in a timely manner; explains what needs to be done and then what was actually done; answers any questions we have. Thanks, Linda, and Dick Ide. We also appreciate that all of the service advisors are friendly when we walk in the door to drop off or pick up. More

This the second car we have purchased from Brad and Ide Honda. We are very pleased with the overall process, with Brad as a salesperson, and with Dick Ide dealership. On 12/28/12, as I began to drive to work - which is 40 minutes from home, my steering wheel was shaking profusely. I turned the car around and headed to Dick Ide. When I arrived at the service area, Linda Freeman greeted me with a warm smile. Her friendliness, and knowledge of what could be wrong,(ice on tires)alleviated my initial concerns. After Linda took the time to test drive the car,(which turned out to be ice on the tires,)she stated that it would be a good idea for the car to be further inspected on the service lift. Linda's conscientiousness,and insights of the Accord's capabilities, helped to turn a negative situation into a positive one. Lastly, Linda further assisted my morning by ensuring that I left in a timely fashion, as my worksite is an hour away from the dealership. More
