I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on Black Friday (2023). During the test drive, I pointed out that the vehicle needed an alignment and on the highway the wheels shook, so they said they wo Friday (2023). I scheduled a service appointment for the next week and purchased the vehicle. When I got to the service department a couple of days later, they did not have me scheduled, but worked me in. I was thankful for that, but it came at a price of waiting there for 5 hours that day. Once they were done with my Jeep, I took it for a test drive and quickly felt nothing was done, so I drove the block and went right back. I explained that my Jeep still pulls to the right and the steering wheel is at an 11 o’clock angle. I had yet to drive down the highway for the balancing of the tires. I then had the service manager explain to me that how Jeeps are difficult to align, but they did an alignment and everything should be alright. I left. Since then I learned that many of my lug nuts on my wheels were stripped, so I went to Discount Tire and they had to tap out my lug nuts to get my wheels off. Then I got their lifetime balance and rotation. They had pointed out to me how one wheel was off by 4 ounces, another by 3 ounces, etc. Obviously Infiniti service department did not balance my wheels like they said they did. Infiniti likely was not even able to take off my wheels to do so, if they did, they then stripped my lug nuts. So that was disappointing. So then next I took my Wrangler to Firestone for their lifetime alignment. They printed out a sheet that showed how out of alignment the Jeep was and that there had not been any alignment performed on this Jeep recently for it to be so out of caliber (unless I went rock climbing, but my Jeep has not left pavement since I have purchased it). So the Infiniti dealership service department lied to me about doing an alignment on my Jeep. Firestone said their was no complications and was shocked to learn that I just had the Infinity dealership just perform this service. So basically the Infiniti dealership service department lied about performing the only two services on my Jeep that I had asked for when purchasing the vehicle. They offer a free first oil change, I don’t trust this dealership for even a basic oil change after this experience. Before posting this, I called and spoke with the service manager. I explained this situation and I suggested to him that he speak to his mechanics first to see why they would mark a job completed that was not performed. I am giving the service department a chance to rectify this situation before I decide to post my dissatisfaction to the public. I informed the service manager to call me or email me by COB the next day for outcome, (he agreed). The Service Manager, Nick that I spoke with may have gotten too busy to reach back out to me, so… if they did not seem concerned or care about this situation and providing lies to their customers for service that was not done or said could not be done and get back to me, that the public would be reading my feedback based on this awareness. The service manager Nick and service advisor Shelby were awesome. My car had been in the shop more than I would like. I shared my concerns with these two gentleman and they took care of the problems. I would recommend working with these fellas anytime. I was unable to open my lift gate on my SUV to remove my child seats. Without hesitation, the service advisor, Shelby hopped into the car to unhook my car seats. That in my opinion was above and beyond. More
