BEWARE OF SNEAKY CHARGES THAT THEY WILL ADD TO YOUR PRICE! I came to look for a used vehicle at a price that would fit my budget while also trading in my current car. Paul came out and greeted us and PRICE! I came to look for a used vehicle at a price that would fit my budget while also trading in my current car. Paul came out and greeted us and I filled him in on what I was looking for. He found some options in my price range so I was excited to go check them out. I test drove the one I liked the most, a 2016 Kia Optima with all of the perks and the price was perfect according to my calculations. When we got inside to start paperwork, Paul comes with price quotes and I am SHOCKED at monthly payment amounts! It didn’t make sense! The car was listed at $18,999 but when he came back with the quote it was $27,800! Outrageous! I looked over all of the added charges and I couldn’t believe it! An additional $895 for LoJack and $2,700 for Reconditioning and Certification. Those were the two charges I did not agree with. There were other things, like tax and title which I can understand but those 2 major fees that he tried to swindle me with are what put a bad taste in my mouth. Paul was great but come on! I told you the budget I needed to stay in and you could have been honest about these hidden fees from the start. When I asked him if those fees were necessary or if they could remove them, he said they can’t go. I don’t want a LoJack? And why does Reconditioning cost so xxxx much? Next, the manager (I think) was the one calculating the finance offers, only wanted to offer me $10,500 for my car when the BlueBook lists it for at least $2,000+ more and a dealership yesterday offered me $12,000. So, I knew they could/should have done better. Paul and his manager “attempted” to lower the price for me 3 times, and every time they said, “that’s the lowest I can go.” The price was still way over my budget and I finally told them that I would have to decline and do business elsewhere. The kids and I made it about 5 miles away when I got a call from the General Manager who I hadn’t met yet. He offered me a monthly payment of $405 with no payment due for 60 days. That amount was only $5 over what I said my max was so, I agreed and went back. I pulled up and immediately I felt uncomfortable about doing a deal with them and wanted to leave again. But I loved the car and it was finally priced right! So.. I went in and started the paperwork. After we finished signing the forms, Paul decided to surprise me again! He told me that the car wouldn’t be ready for about another week! I have never bought a car and not been able to leave in it that same day! Apparently they had to detail the car, (I guess that $2700 reconditioning fee takes care of that) then buff out and polish the back bumper before it would be ready. With the amount of time we spent there, they could have had all of that done before we finished up. Finally, I left the dealership in the car I sold to them and haven’t been able to experience that euphoria from buying and driving my new car yet. When I got home I started reading yelp reviews and they were absolutely shocking! They were awful reviews about service and sales departments and I wish I had read them before I visited this place. Now I can’t help but wonder if I’ve made a huge mistake. I’m so scared that I signed a bad deal and that when I finally get my new car I will find out that they sold me a lemon. I hope that isn’t the case! That’s why I decided to write this review now. So far, I can’t review the car itself since it’s not in my possession but I can and will come back with an updated review on the car eventually. Paul was really a very kind guy. Very pleasant to work with but I don’t appreciate the sneaky behavior. The General Manager was very kind and I did appreciate him bringing the price down to what it should have started at in negotiations. I should have gotten a monthly payment of $275 had those extra costs not been slipped. This has been a bittersweet experience and I hope I can return with great news about my purchase. More

I had very good service and experience at Infiniti San Antonio when we purchased a used car. Sales team, finance, etc. I have to add now unfortunately that we just noticed the front fender had a few pie Antonio when we purchased a used car. Sales team, finance, etc. I have to add now unfortunately that we just noticed the front fender had a few pieces out of their place. I took it to one friend who has an auto repair shop and he could see marks that the front fender was painted due to a previous accident. Perhaps it was never reported and thats why it did not show up on CARFAX but my friend who knows more about cars and someone from INFINITI certainly noticed. Nevertheless, it was never released or shared with us and now we found after buying the car. I believe this should have been shared with us. Transparency is important More
