Years of Bad service all around Bad service started back when we first leased car. We went into dealership after seeing an ad promoting one deal but dealer attempted a bait and swit Bad service started back when we first leased car. We went into dealership after seeing an ad promoting one deal but dealer attempted a bait and switch. We placed a review here on this site about our the car buying experience and were quickly called back. Sales Manager sat down with us and agreed there was a mistake and agreed to sell us the car at the price quoted but asked us if we would take down the negative report. Also gave us free winter mats. Fast forward. After having the car for a number years and extending the lease out we decided to keep the car. We called infiniti financial and set it up. We continued to make payments for a number of years when we recieved a call last september saying we had a month to pay off the balance or they were going to take the car back. We were obviously a bit confused. Our payments were up to date. The lady at Infiniti financial said car was still under lease. At this point the lease had been over for 2+years. I asked Infiniti to send me a list of all my payments which they did. I had made every single payment month after month. The lady I spoke with said these were lease payments. I told her that didn't make sense. I said if my lease had been over for 2 years why would they continue to accept payments from me instead of contacting me and making arrangements to buy the car. I asked her if these were lease payments, and If I was well beyond my lease why was I just now being contacted. In any case we agreed on a payoff price. I was told the balance I would need to pay to payoff a now 6 year old vehicle. They told me to contact the local dealer to make the payment. I contacted the local dealer and explained the situation. The used car manager seemed confused and instead of helping me handle the situation he just stopped responding. I called several times with no response. I called several more times speaking to the only friendly person at the dealership, the young lady who answers the phones. She was mordified and said she was going to put me in touch with the boss of used car manager. I left a voicemail and once again no reply. Fast forward a few weeks and still no answer about where to send this payoff. I called Infiniti financial again. I told them about my hardship with the local delear. They said they would contact them and set it up the payment. After about 20mins on hold they came back on the line and said dealership was being difficult and I could send the payment directly to them. They gave me the address of where to send it and told me to print off my vehicle mileage statement and send it in with the payment. They said once I sent payment in they would send me the title. This was back in October. Both the payment and statement were overnighted to them in same envelope. I called a few days later after seeing on website that they recieved the payment. I asked them how long it would be before I receieved the title. They said it was typically between 10-14 days. After waiting 3 weeks I called them and they said they never recieved the mileage statement. I told them that the statement was in same envelope as the payment which had obviously been received based on my online statement. Woman was very rude and said she didn't recieve anything and I needed to send it again. Fast forward. Statement was sent in one more time and then faxed. Once again I was told it would be 10-14 day. Since that time I still haven't received title. I recieved several explanantions with the most recent being the those in charge of the title had not processed it yet. Which is a bit odd because when I called several months back the gentlemen I spoke with said they needed to get a duplicate from DMV in Concord NH. The last call was two days ago. I was told the title was being overnighted. Still nothing. More
