I read a couple of negative reviews about the pricing policies (no negotiating on used cars)at this store. After researching the QX56 2008, I noticed their prices were better than others Infiniti dealer policies (no negotiating on used cars)at this store. After researching the QX56 2008, I noticed their prices were better than others Infiniti dealers to start. For that reason, I decided to check out their vehicles. I found their selection much nicer than the one I found at my local dealer, and they were all priced aggressively. All the prices were listed on their website as internet specials. Once I found the one that I wanted to purchase, I asked for a discount. Why not, right? They explained that they advertised their best price and it would only be reduced by time. This vehicle had been on their lot about a week. I had been watching the local dealers websites for the color I wanted and this one popped up. Because they were already cheaper than my other potential vehicles on the market, I decided to move forward with the purchase. I found the pricing system very refreshing and wonder why more dealers don't adopt this way of selling. They explained that about 10% of the people that look at their cars don't believe them when they explain the system and more often than not get mad and storm out and sometimes just sit in their car before coming back in to purchase. They explained that people over the years had voiced their displeasure at the back and forth old school way and they finally adopted a system similar to Carmax over several years ago. It made sense to me to cater to the 90%, rather than the 10% who expect to or enjoy the stereotypical car experience. Thanks Infiniti of Gwinnett More
Bought a preowned certified 2008 FX35 with them. I thought certified car should be thoroughly inspected and free of problems. It was the opposite. Had many problems from the beginning, luckily the ca thought certified car should be thoroughly inspected and free of problems. It was the opposite. Had many problems from the beginning, luckily the car is still under warranty, my local dealer fixed them. The car did not have a manual and they said they would send me one. Of course, it never showed up. Then found the key they gave me was not even original, it was just programed to work but the physical key won't work. Surprises just keep coming. A couple of days ago, I found that the car was in an accident. The accident was on 02/05/2009, but I did not see on the report since Carfax did not start reporting from the source till 08/24/2010. I bet they knew but did not tell me. Overall, very bad experience! More
The arrogance of the dealership and of the general manager was astounding. I looked at a vehicle on Saturday then brought my husband back to the dealer on Tuesday to look at the car. We made an offer, manager was astounding. I looked at a vehicle on Saturday then brought my husband back to the dealer on Tuesday to look at the car. We made an offer, THEN found out they don't negotiate the prices on used cars. If this had been posted somewhere we would have not even bothered with them. Additionally, the second salesman we dealt with, Don Wrobel, basically didn't even want to talk to us after he turned down our offer. He looked at his watch, said "I have another appointment" and then watched as we walked out the door. What was even more astounding was when I wrote an e-mail to the general manager of the dealership, the response he sent was just as arrogant. My husband and I bought an Infiniti from another dealer and I will NEVER go to or recommend Infiniti of Gwinnett. More
Bought 2004 FX35 used from Nissan. 1. Two months out Bought 2004 FX35 used from Nissan. 1. Two months out of warrantee, door handle fell off. Arrived at dealer. Because I didn't have an "appointmen Bought 2004 FX35 used from Nissan. 1. Two months out of warrantee, door handle fell off. Arrived at dealer. Because I didn't have an "appointment", I was given to three different Service Writers. Interesting because not one of them was working with a customer (standing drinking coffee). Was actually told, "You didn't buy your car from us and we won't fix it. Had you bought it from us, we would have fixed it for free". Quoted $375 to have it fixed. Had it done locally for $180. 2. Shortly after three years expired, the dashboard began to blister, bubble, and peal. There were over 300 blemish's on the dashboard. This car was garaged it's entire life. When parked, a "sun deflector" was in the window. Called Infinity. Was told the car was out of warrantee and they wouldn't help me. Actually told me that they had never had this problem with any customer and it must have been customer abuse. A year later I received a recall from Infinity about this very same problem. The problem was widespread and every dashboard through these years was being replaced. Apparantly the Service Writer simply lied to me about mine being the only one. Took it for the warrantee repair. Was treated well and received a loaner car. When I received the car back, the dashboard was a different fabric and a different color. My dashboard was "leather" and solid black. The replacement was grey and an inferior substance. I called Infinity of Gwinnett and was told there was nothing they could do. They told me that this was the replacement product, it was the right color, and there was nothing they could do. I was given the Infinity Customer Support Group. The young man I spoke with was nice, but said he had never heard of this problem. He asked for pictures showing the color variance. I sent 5 pictures clearly showing the difference in color (Easy because they didn't replace all of the dashboard and there were sections that were still the "old black"). Upone receiving the pictures, I was called back and told that it "must have been sun exposure that darkened the old fabric". I laughed and pointed out that the sun "lightens and fades colors", it doesn't "darken them". The young man told me that he spoke with an expert and that's what he was told to tell me. I thanked him for his professional behavior and then thanked him for his "lip service". I now have a two toned dash board....very classy. Two weeks later I used the automatic mirror adjustment. With light pressure the unit fell back into the dashboard. It wasn't installed properly. Then, the same day, on a road trip to the beach, the A/C blower went out. The compressor still worked, but no fan. We drove 300 miles without A/C. I called Infinity of Gwinnett on Monday morning and spoke with my Service Advisor. After explaining the problem, the first words out of his mouth were, "this problem is totally unrelated to the work we did". I asked how he could know this without seeing the car and he again said that "there was no way we caused this to happen". He did say that they would "look at" the mirror control. He then diagnosed the problem over the phone as a bad A/C Control Module. Simple to fix. He quoted me $738! Needing to have A/C on vacation at the beach, I took it to a local Nissan dealer; Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach. They welcomed me and I cringed as I waited for the bad news. It appears that the mechanic that reassembled the dashboard at Infinity of Gwinnett crimped a pin in a wiring harness that finally shorted out. Total repair was $95! Will I ever trust Infinity of Gwinnett? No! Are they trustworthy? No! Am I satisfied with Infinity? Not after I received lip service on the dashboard about the wrong color and inferior materials. I would've preferred some negotiation on the dealer's part but thats not how they roll and ultimately I felt like I got a good deal on a fine automobile which is what it's all about. In addition to the sales experience, subsequent visits to the service department at the dealership were great. All in all, a terricic bunch of folks to work with...I still talk to Don regulary even though I've since sold the car. I'll certainly consider Gwinnett Infiniti the next time I purchase a vehicle...maybe they'll discount the next purchase for a return customer. : ) More
I had a very bad experience dealing with Richard Ball at this dealership. After talking to Richard I told him what I needed to consumate a lease with him. Richard sent me an e-mail with the lease cost, i this dealership. After talking to Richard I told him what I needed to consumate a lease with him. Richard sent me an e-mail with the lease cost, including tax and additional possible reductions. Once I agreed with his quote, he retracted the price and told me that the numbers were transposed and would not be able to offer the car at his original quote. I made it very clear that the deal I had was confirmed and he responded to that understanding. When I called his general manager, they both were extremely rude, never apologized and told me that I should find something else to do with my time. Needless to say, I ended up leasing with another dealer. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealer. More
Without knowing much information about the FX-35, I responded to an Auto-Trader.com posting as an inquiry. Don Wroble responded and we started a conversation about the different FX-35 vehicles that he responded to an Auto-Trader.com posting as an inquiry. Within five hours, I had successful found the perfect car and was able to get a fair price for my trade-in. Don delivered the car to me in Nashville, TN from his dealership near Atlanta. Talk about good service! This eexperience is one that I intend to repeat again. - LJ Elliott Nashville, TN More
My overall experience at Infiniti of Gwinnett was exceptional to say the least. I'm only 25 and had to get my loan through a Credit Union which took about a week and a half to finalize. The sales p exceptional to say the least. I'm only 25 and had to get my loan through a Credit Union which took about a week and a half to finalize. The sales person, Steve Pennamen, was very patient through the whole loan completion process. He is what made made my whole experience at the dealership as smooth as possible. He fully explained everything about the car and all of it's features, taking the time even in the rain to show me all the 2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan had to offer. I left the dealership with a full understanding of all the features included in the car, along with all warranty and servicing information. Steve represents the full competence that all dealerships should follow. I will definitely recommend this dealership to all my friends. More
