If I could give this dealership a 0 I would. Go elsewhere or don't buy or lease an Infiniti ! I have been driving Infiniti's the last 20 or more years. We decided this year, when our lease beca elsewhere or don't buy or lease an Infiniti ! I have been driving Infiniti's the last 20 or more years. We decided this year, when our lease became due, that we would buy it because there is no availability of new vehicles. We had to fill out some paperwork. We were charged $307.85 for registration and title fees. Our salesman looked it up and said we had a tag until 2023 so all we had to do was pick it up. We also were charged $495 for an elect. processing fee and another $995 for a Pre-Delivery Service Charge. The Pre-Delivery Service Charge apparently includes some profit. My wife went to pick up her tag and was told at the tag agency that the tag we had was for a leased car and we would need new ones. So, my wife got sent on a wild goose chase. I decided to call Infiniti Finance and here is what they told me. They do not have a Elec. Processing Fee and had no idea why the Dealership was charging it. They indicated that they have no add ons when a car is purchased at the end of the lease. I wonder exactly what this fee is for. It kind of sounds like they are charging a fee to make extra profit because Infiniti Finance gets none of it. If that is the case then Infiniti is misrepresenting a charge as a cost when it is a profit center. The person from Infiniti Finance also indicated that we should have been provided a paper plate. We were not. The $995 we charged, while it says a part of it was profit, is bizarre. We didn't even have the car there when we purchased it as we were driving my car. What exactly did they do as a pre-delivery service when the car was not even there? The charge is supposedly, according to the invoice for , "costs and fprofits to the dealers for items such as inspecting (not done the car was not there), cleaning , and adjusting vehicles (the car was not there so this was not done either) and preparing documents related to the sale (this is the only thing that was done and it was done incorrectly (incorrect mailing address, incorrect email address). So we basically got charged for items that were not done and for the tag we were not provided. My wife spoke to the representative who said he would overnight the tag (that was three days ago and we are still waiting). Since that time we have not received the courtesy of a callback. I contacted Infiniti Consumer Affairs who tried to contact the dealer but got no response. All in all this is the most dismal excuse for a transaction I have ever had. I am not yet sure what I will do yet but I do know I was charged for alleged services that were never provided. I know that I was charged fees that purport to be costs but are likely not and not disclosed as profit. More
