My wife and I have a new edition coming to the family, plus we're tall so we wanted a bigger vehicle. We came across a beautiful bronze QX80 limited. We reached out to the dealership immediately. The sales process was easy and we had a good experience with that. That's the ONLY reason I gave two stars. Upon turning the vehicle on there was a very pungent smoke/unration smell. We brought it up to the sales person and he said it could that the cabin filter would probably need to be changed and it was be somewhere in the range of $120- $150. When they wouldn't have taken care of that free of charge at the time of purchase, I should've known that they're trying to nickel and dime us. We were so excited to have the new vehicle that we didn't even let that bother us and figured we would just get air fresheners, leave the windows open for a bit and the smell would go away. We were wrong. Unfortunately about a week after having the vehicle the check engine light came on. This was the start of the snowball. We purchased the vehicle in August and have taken the care to the dealership on a monthly basis(we would've taken it back more often but we live two hours away from this dealership). When we took it in the first time they said that one of the sensors were off and they just had to reset it. We were assured that it was nothing major. It made sense to us so we didn't think anything of it. Within a few days after the check engine light came back on again. We figured it was the same thing so just let it be for about another 3 weeks until we were in Charlotte and then brought it back. Then that gentleman told us that there was something that wasn't catching the tracks(above our heads). He informed us its being taken care of. We got the car back and the CEL off. Later that day the light came back on. During that drive I had the cruise control on. I noticed that when there is a slight incline on the highway the vehicle would rev up pretty high to stay on that speed. I thought it was odd but didn't think anything of it. I just figured that's how the vehicle's performance was set. We went to visit the Biltmore one day and I had the cruise control on again and our vehicle started to stutter, shake and decelerate. It was pretty scary and embarrassing to say the least. At that point I called the closest Infiniti dealership to us to schedule an appt immediately. We ended up getting an opening for an appt about 3 weeks after that call. Now whenever we hit 60-70mph range and I push on the gas a little to accelerate it shakes the entire car and decelerates each and every single time. When I had to bring it in and replicate it for the tech it happened immediately. They were very nice about getting us into a loaner and informed us they would fully diagnose and find the issue. They called us back after a couple days and to inform us it will be $7500 in repairs. That is absurd! After spending all this money on a vehicle we have to come out of our pockets thousands of dollars a couple months later with a baby on the way in two weeks. We assumed purchasing the vehicle from the actual Infiniti dealership and not Big Moe's car lot that it would have been fully inspected and we would have no issues. I don't think that's much to ask for at all whatsoever. I guess that's how its done. If you're thinking about purchasing a vehicle here MAKE SURE to have it fully inspected from another mechanic. A harsh lesson to learn. It was a happy purchase now we just feel like we took a problem off their hands. More

I appreciated the inspection, and was happy to pay for light bulbs that were burned out. I brought the car in because I wanted to make sure it was going to get and have on hand the parts it needed..the b light bulbs that were burned out. They wanted to charge me 35.00 dollars for a windshield washer cap? I try to take care of my car. I brought in a new cabin air filter.they charged me 49.00 dollars to install it. Just under 1000.00 dollers For a brake job.it stops well and if any thing goes wrong, it's going back. More
