Warning - Please do not purchase a vehicle from Infiniti of Birmingham. They are dishonest and they do not stand by their work. On July 10, 2021. I purchased a 2021 Infiniti QX50 from Infiniti of Birmin of Birmingham. They are dishonest and they do not stand by their work. On July 10, 2021. I purchased a 2021 Infiniti QX50 from Infiniti of Birmingham located at 1804 Montgomery Hwy, Hoover, AL 35244. I've had to take the car in for repair at least once concerning the driver seat (no fault of mine but stated to be a known issue with the QX50's). I have had all scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, air filters, engine filters, tire rotation etc. performed and completed by the service department at Infiniti of Birmingham. Around the second week of January 2025, I began to experience my car not driving properly. The car was sputtering and there was a rev in the RPM while going at a steady speed. I contact the dealer and spoke with a staff member to explain the concern. I was asked about bad gas and was asked if the car had a tune up. I advised I always get gas from the local Chevron. I explained it had never been recommended to me. I was advised it should have been recommended at 105,000 miles. My vehicle currently has 112,000 miles and I just had an oil change at 109,000 in December 2024. The problem continued so I requested a loaner vehicle because the diagnostic would take 2 days, and I have no other transportation. Per diagnostic, Code P0776 replace transmission and code P11AB-00 VCR motor & cost amount of 12,000 to fix. Two staff members admitted to me they have had knowingly issues with the CTV transmissions. Per website reviews, consumers have had the same issues. Nissan/Infiniti continues to use CTV transmissions in vehicles knowing they will not last. Per internet search CTV transmissions may fail at 100,000 miles. This is unacceptable and companies should be held liable. This is a $43,000 vehicle that you will only get 100,000 miles out of. I have wasted time and money on this vehicle. It was purchased new & I am still paying for this vehicle. No one should EVER purchase an Infiniti. The owner maintenance manual has no recommendation after 90,000 miles. This tells me everything! The company does not expect the vehicle to last past 90,000 miles. I will never do business with this company again and I suggest that no one does. In fact, run. Infiniti (QX50) is not a reliable vehicle. Please make sure you car does not have a CTV transmission. I am 12,000 miles over the warranty and could not get any help. Infiniti of Birmingham is a rip off and a scam. They are not for the people. More

Transmission replaced at 70k in July. Felt it was starting to do same issues. Service consultant told me tech could find nothing wrong.
