Mr. Siemens, You contacted us by phone with the concern that your vehicle back-up camera, blue tooth and sonars sensors were not working. As we discussed even though your vehicle is out of the manufacturer warranty Infiniti Stuart offered to inspect the vehicle and if needed ask Infiniti Motors for assistance on your behalf to assist with repairs. We diagnosed the vehicle and determined what was needed and as offered, we submitted for goodwill assistance from Infiniti Motors. As we discussed your vehicle has experienced issues in the past, but we had not seen your vehicle in 2 years. Infiniti Motors did offer to assist you with repair. As I am sure you are aware the decision about the extent of the financial assistance from Infiniti is not made here at the dealer level. It is disappointing to hear you are not pleased with the offer and, although we did all of the diagnostics at no charge to you, you are unhappy with our service. We hope you change your mind about Infiniti and Nissan, they make great products and we enjoy serving our guests who buy them. We wish you the very best. Once again, false information. I have only owned the car a little over 2 years, so your claim that you haven't seen the car in your service department in 2 years is not true. The car was in your service department twice in the last year for the same issue, and three times total. What you have in your system in regard to notes, is based on what your team put in your system, I have no control over that. I brought it in three times for the exact same issue. Two of the times were under warranty and it should have been fully diagnosed and fixed. I know you claim it was something different each time which is even more concerning that a new Infinity would have that many quality issues, with the same system, in such a short time. Either way, poor quality vehicle or incompetence repair team, this is not good. I specifically told the person on the last appointment when the car was still under warranty to take their time and please make sure it was fully repaired, and it was "fixed" with a software update but now it is a $5000 part? The price to what part, no clue. I was never given anything to show what the issue is or the part in question. Just told the part is like $5000 and that you were going to try to get Infinity to "good faith" it and would call me the next day. No call the next day but a few days later, I guess they didn't want to "good faith" it, just discount an extremely overpriced part. This exact issue has a recall on this vehicle for the year newer, so Infinity knows it is an issue too.
