I arrived early for my appointment, and Mike Cescato greeted me immediately in a friendly manner as usual. He kept me apprised of the timeline and explained what would be done. My name is Mike Neely and I picked my vehicle up on Friday, 9/15/23, after having the rear passenger side shock replaced and the system bled. Not even two hours later, the rear driver side shock explod Friday, 9/15/23, after having the rear passenger side shock replaced and the system bled. Not even two hours later, the rear driver side shock exploded. Your mechanic at the Orland Park location made a bad judgement call by bleeding the system after only replacing the one shock. Now I'm being told it would have to be bled again when the driver side shock is replaced. I should not have to pay for that when he knew there was a possibility of this happening with one old and one new rear shock on the vehicle. Not to mention, I'd just had a new air compressor installed. It should have been suggested to replace both shocks at the same time and then have the system bled. I have been a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars over the last few months there on my vehicle, and tens of thousands of dollars over the last few years between this vehicle and the previous QX56 that I had. I am still waiting to hear from Mike Cescato as to what they're going to do about this situation. It shouldn't take this long to receive a call about having my vehicle serviced due to a bad decision made by their mechanic not even a week ago. What I know is that I shouldn't have to pay another $1441 to have the system bled. I should only have to pay for the shock. I would very much appreciate a timely response to this survey and a call regarding the service of my vehicle. More
