I visited the service department for my emergency break system and worked with Steve Morrone. I was told that the sensor was replaced and I left. The error came back and I visited the service dept at t system and worked with Steve Morrone. I was told that the sensor was replaced and I left. The error came back and I visited the service dept at the end of this past December and worked with Stephen Roberts, I was told it would cost me $140 and that there was only a “software update” don’t on the sensor. I explained that I was told it was replaced and he handed me my keys and dismissed me. After speaking to the retention manager the same day, she told me she spoke to my first advisor and that the sensor was replaced at the time and that it wasn’t just a software update. He barely tries to correct the issue and automatically goes into needing to repair. I assumed Nissan warranties the parts that they use for repairs but according to Stephen the part was never changed although I was told on multiple occasions that it was. I left annoyed at this point because I’m getting multiple stories from the same department. I received an email from Stephen Roberts stating that I would receive a survey and I replied stating that I have been waiting for a call back on a “recall” since a Tuesday of the week prior. I received an email back to call him. So I visited the service department agin for the same sensor issue only to be told the same thing again. I was even told “these sensors go out on brand new cars”. He even stated that last time they only performed a calibration and software update when the time prior it was confirmed that the part was replaced. I’m not sure if that was suppose to make me comfortable with my purchase. According to him this can be a repair costing me up to $1100 when no one looked at the car to see what happened with the original repair of that sensor. I don’t know why I was even asked to reach out to have my time wasted again. Especially after reaching via email and being told “I don’t send out emails”. Seems like he partially listens and is quick to respond. Everything else has been great but this is tainting my opinion of this dealership. More
