I dealt with John Rhode, the Internet Sales Manager for this transaction. I had been looking for a particular vehicle for about a month, and it turned up that Rountree Toyota has this car (2010 VW GTI). this transaction. I live in North Carolina, almost 8 hours away from Rountree Toyota, and with the GTI being a fairly hard car to find currently, I was not scared to drive a long way to trade in my Toyota FJ Cruiser. I contacted the dealer with an offer, and got a very quick response from John Rhode, who happily answered my questions and communicated with me greatly between the General Sales Manager, and in a very timely manner. We quickly reached a deal on trading in my FJ, and John very quickly faxed me a Buyer's Order with all the numbers in writing. Another thing that really impressed me is that I never felt nickeled-and-dimed. The numbers were very straight-forward, with no weird fees or anything like that. Additionally, John was made the dealings extremely easy, especially with me driving 8 hours to do the deal, and I was in and out of the dealer in 1 Hour. I have dealt with many dealers and their games before, and experienced nothing of the sort at Rountree Toyota. I highly recommend Rountree Toyota, and hope their future customers have a similar experience to mine. More
Absolutely the perfect dealership for anybody who hates shopping for cars. The "no hassle" policy is accurate and they gave me a price on a new vehicle that I didn't even quibble with one penney because I shopping for cars. Same exact model at another dealer would have cost me literally $10,000 more out of pocket (incl trade) and would not have been anywhere near as pleasant or simple. I know this because I didn't start off here but ended up here and will be a customer for life as long as the service is this good. They don't screw around with lowballing you but offer fair selling prices and (maybe even more importantly) fair trade values for your vehicle. Everything they said they meant and did - from prices to time of purchase to when everything would be in and ready for pickup. Everything here was perfect and I can wholeheartedly recommend this dealer to anybody. As a side note I started off dealing on the Internet with Phil and then went in to finish up with Chad, it's a great way to go. More

They were upfront with the cost and features of the vehicle (I dealt with them online initially) and everything was exactly as described when we arrived to pick up the car. I went through USAA's (insurance) auto buying program. They were the only dealer that stuck to the pricing plan that USAA had set. The car was perfect and was waiting inside for us when we arrived. Phil was actually off for the day but waited for me to come in so he could meet me before leaving. John helped us through the rest of the process. We already had financing secured so after John showed us the car and took us for a short test drive it wasn't long before we were on our way. He went over the whole car with us including all the manuals and other information and was very thorough. I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable auto buying experience! My girlfriend and I were more than pleased and I will definately be recommending them to others in the future. I live in Jacksonville and it was more than worth the hour drive to get there! More
I contacted 12 Toyota dealerships in the state of Florida to comparison shop for a 2011 Avalon Toyota Classic Silver/ Grey Leather interior. I was extremely impressed with John Rohde the salesman who sold me my new car. He was very knowledgeable of the new Avalon, was not a pushy salesman at all, and completed the paper processing in a short period of time, explaining everything clearly as he went along. In addition, the dealership did not have the specific color I wanted, but by the next day they had sent a driver to another dealership and traded out one of their cars for the one I wanted. John gave me the best price for the car, compared with the other dealers and personally went over every item in the car to make sure I knew where everything was located and how to use it. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I am very pleased with my experience. Li More

Phillip was absolutely great to work with. He really went above and beyond to find the car I wanted at the price we wanted to pay. When the car we agreed on originally turned out not to be available in went above and beyond to find the car I wanted at the price we wanted to pay. When the car we agreed on originally turned out not to be available in the timeframe promised, Phil found another vehicle with the same specifications originally asked for PLUS additional options -- and all at the original agreed upon price. Once at the dealership, Phil thoroughly went over everything with us. He spent about 3 hours with us and set up the bluetooth phone option for us. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Phil if you are in the market for a new vehicle. Stephen Jones who worked with us on the final financial details was also very pleasant and courteous to work with. No one pressured us. I so appreciated that. WE were never going to buy another car from this dealership because of our past experience. Before prices changed and service was horrible, this time however the price we were quoted is what we paid dealership because of our past experience. My wife and I visited this dealership recently to purchase a new truck, after a couple of weeks we decided on one working with our salesperson Tony, and the Manager on pricing. My wife stopped by the dealership to get the paperwork started before comming home to get me so we could go back and get the truck. We we're excited to get this finalized and have the shopping over ...She met with Tony, and he said everything look good to go get me and we would finish everything up. Before my wife got home I got a call from Tony, he said his manager told him to call me and let me know he priced the wrong truck...of course I thought this was a bad joke, but he insisted he was telling the truth...(there's no way they priced the wrong truck, its all on paper with the description and ser.number)...anyway upset I asked him to have the manager call me. When the manager called he stayed with his story of pricing the wrong truck, and stating that "he would understand if I wanted to go to another dealership to purchase my truck.." Well with that said, I decided to do just that. It is certanily their loss. I would have been a very good customer. But I would not want to deal with dishonesty. These people are DEFINATELY dishonest. They will never get my business. More
