I received the car buy auto transport and the next day there was a major oil leak on mt driveway. Took it to the chevy dealer and discovered that there were engine and oil pan bolts missing plus the harmonic balancer was bad and took pout the front seal. While on the rack we discovered that the original motor had been replaced with a LKQ junk yard motor. It also had transmission problems. I talked with the general mgr Danny and my salesman about the problem and wanted them to help with the cost to make things right and they said they would. To date they have done nothing even after a certified letter to the owner. They never return any of my calls.I spent over $2000 on the motor and $720, to make the trans work right. Beware they do what to say! More

I purchased my first BMW from I-5 Motors back in 2004, the year after they opened for business. Since then, my family and I have purchased a total of six pre-owned vehicles from I-5 motors, including four BMWs, a Honda, and a Tesla. I am incredibly impressed with their operation. In August of this year, I purchased a pre-owned BMW X5 with the help of Elena Artugue, a member of their sales team. Elena was attentive and took the time to ensure I found the right vehicle for my needs. She was personable, empathetic, a great communicator, and didn’t have an ounce of “high pressure” during the sales process. At the time of sale, Elena scheduled a time to have me return to have the windshield replaced due to a small crack on the driver’s side, as well as replace two proximity sensors which weren’t functioning on the front bumper. All taken care of and paid for by I-5 Motors. The day after the repairs, the “check engine” light came on. My heart sank. It turned out to be camshaft issues, but Luke Wilson, the co-owner, stepped up and took care of the repairs. Immediately after getting my X5 back, the engine light came on twice more, necessitating the replacement of fuel injectors, and worse yet, the catalytic converter. Luke agreed to absorb the cost of having those repaired too. And, when one of the electric rear-hatch shock/spindle drives failed that same week, Luke paid to have them both replaced, when he was clearly not obligated to do so. Color me impressed. I want to thank Luke, Elena, and the sales manager, Danny Ventler, for going far beyond their obligations to ensure I remain a satisfied return-customer. If you are considering a pre-owned vehicle luxury vehicle, I enthusiastically recommend giving I-5 Motors an opportunity to earn your business. I think you will be more than pleased. More

F We were looking at a the Chevrolet Malibu on Saturday 3/18/17. Everything was going great until we began negotiating price. First , the representative Matthew had a sort of Jekyll and Hyde personality; we were best friends during the test drive but as soon as we started talking money I think we broke up. He went from talking sports and life in general to being closed off and anti "getting me that car." Second, we told Matthew that we were looking at paying cash for the vehicle. He then proceeded on asking us if we were sure that we didn't want to save some money for a rainy day and other ideas along those lines. If I wanted a lesson on saving money I would call my grandma. Third, the price negotiating left a foul taste in my mouth. When we were on our test drive he mentioned that because we found the car online we would have a $200 discount. After hearing that, I was excited to start the discussions. It has been awhile since I had bought a car and wasn't sure how much tax, title, and licencing would be so I asked. Matthew told me that it would be roughly 10 percent. Doing the math in my head was as follows: a $ 16,995 car-$200=$16,795x.1(10%)=$1,679.5 about $1,700. So a car that would cost approximately $16,800 with 10% tax, title, and licencing it would be almost $18,500. The price Matthew quoted me was $18,500. Being that this was a car dealership, and a used car dealership at that, I was going to dicker over the price a little. I asked if there was anyway he could bring it down closer to $18,000. He said he needed to talk to his manager and see what he could do. After a really short period of time he came out of the office with a sticky note and a new price on it; $19,651. That's not how the "talk to the manager" thing goes. The price was supposed to go down at least a fraction, not up by $1,000 from the original quote. He then said something about extra fees this and that and that this was the actual price. He also, said that there was no way they would or could drop the price for me. Needless to say, I walked away, listened to Russell Wilson, and bought a different Malibu from the friendly and up front sales people at Look Larson. More

Happy Ken, I haven't gotten back to you regarding the sale of my BMW X3 in January. I was awaiting the outcome of a check at a mechanic and also for the title to finally arrive, which it did this past week. The title was held up with a corporation in the deal, so I was happy that despite the length of wait, all came through. The only glitches within that was that I had to figure out financing without the title, but I had some resources there. And it took extra visits to DMV for temp tags, but I-5 Motors reimbursed me the extra tag fees. Nikki was very helpful in the process along the way. The car checked out well with the mechanic. I do not know if you recall me calling you on my way home to Oregon, somewhat panicked that the car came up with an error code regarding the all wheel drive system. The light went off after a stop, and did not return. After reading about it, perhaps it was moisture, cold, or a low battery if the car sat for a while. Thankfully the car had no issue there. The car is everything and more, and I am thrilled with my purchase from I-5 Motors. I have referred your name to a couple of our patients already. Thank you again.
