My experience at this dealer started off well, too bad I didn't take the hint and leave when it started to go poorly. Overall, it's tough to express my level of dissatisfaction with this place because they didn't take the hint and leave when it started to go poorly. Overall, it's tough to express my level of dissatisfaction with this place because they treated me with such disrespect and have such astoundingly bad business practices. To start, I was purchasing a used car here, the initial experience was good enough, Charlie and his manager were polite, if nothing else. Then things went wrong, they quoted a price for my trade, then changed their minds on that written down quoted price because they apparently didn't notice it was a manual. After lengthy discussion, I still left with the new (to me) car. I later found out that the hood had been (poorly) repainted, I should have noticed this, but I bought it at night. I was also told it was clear of any accidents. The after sale service at this dealer is unbelievable. It took over 2 months for me to get my tags in the mail (2 MONTHS!), during this time I was pulled over twice and just lucky enough to get off with a warning about my expired temporary tag. Davis Hyundai, (Charlie in particular) then promised to fix a check engine light that had appeared on my drive home, the car was sold with a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty so I expected no less. After driving over an hour to the dealer (I go out of my way to find a car I like) they told me that their service department couldn't even diagnose it and I should not have been told to come back, which my salesperson, Charlie had told me to do. Charlie and his manager then instructed me to take the car to a local dealer for repairs, when I faxed them the bill they told me to pay and they'll mail me a check. Well, 4 months, countless calls, and even a BBB complaint later and they still refuse to pay for the repair that was clearly covered by the included warranty. Right now their BBB rating is a solid F, and they even refuse to respond to complaints. Do yourself a favor and check BBB about this company and see how they treat their customers before walking in and getting roped into a huge mess like I did. More
