Couldn't get a loan I had recently run into trouble with my old car and I was tired of fixing it every other month. I decided it was time to upgrade so I tried to get a loan to finance a car online that I saw. No one would help me because they said I didn't make enough money. So I decided to go to a dealership to see if they would help me. I went into Davis Hyundai and Ufuoma Edojah greeted me at the door with kindness and professionalism. He helped me look at the car I was there to see and when I couldn't get financed for that one he worked with me for 4 hours on getting a lease to the car I now have. He really went to bat for me when no one else would work with me to get a loan. He really did a good job. More

Do Not use this dealership...Any tactics to make a sale!!!!! Used car internet vehicle ad, Input contact information Re; interest in vehicle. Price was right, contacted immediately to come into dealership to te Used car internet vehicle ad, Input contact information Re; interest in vehicle. Price was right, contacted immediately to come into dealership to test drive, Called at 10:15am to come in arrived at 11:30 (live about an hour away), test drove vehicle agreed to purchase, price was close to 2800.00 more than advertised. Worked on an agreeable price, after 3 hours was told the vehicle had been purchased at 9a that morning and they were just awaiting a finance approval, so vehicle suddenly became unavailable. Not sure why I was contacted to come in to test drive a vehicle that was already in process for purchase, other than to get me into the car dealership. Salesman found another car, had to wait for delivery to test drive, test drive was OK price range was OK purchased the car. 8 days after purchase check engine light had come on, car had not been driven at all in that time frame. Returned to dealership for servicing, received car back with a second completed vehicle inspection checklist with all fluids including oil, etc , picked car up at this point had only put about 200 miles driven. 5 weeks later and less than 3000 miles put on the car, the motor seized due to not a drop of oil, the oil light never came on, no leak noted or smoking of engine. Had the car towed to nearby auto repair, contacted Davis immediately, one return phone call initially. Problem was turned over to the used car manager who never returned a call for over a week, after calling dealership numerous, numerous times. Took another week to get the car towed back to the dealership for the service dept. evaluation. Again communication was horrible, no one would return my calls to talk about a resolution, I did receive intermittent text saying the used car manager would be in touch that never happened, upon multiple phone calls to speak with the used car manager, it appeared the calls were also being screened, I was told umpteen times they were busy or they weren't in, and put through to voicemail. One of the salesman Bob (Nice Man) who was the only person that would speak with me finally called me to let me know that the dealership found a replacement motor instead of a comparable vehicle to get the car back to me. After 3 weeks came into dealership to finalize the plan, the price was given to me to replace motor along with "WE are not going to shoulder anymore expense", its on you if you want the car repaired, BECAUSE you bought the car "AS IS". No guarantee of any kind!!!. The General Manager did not have the courtesy to speak with me nor did the used car manager. I was told they would speak to the owner to see if there could be a negotiated deal to make good on the vehicle, which I was willing to shoulder a part of the expense as well. Came back the next day only to be told NO, the dealership had washed its hands of the problem. They washed their hands of the problem with my first phone call. I also sent a timeline documenting every encounter with all the issues from day one about the vehicle to the salesman, the used car manager, the general manager and to Mr. Davis (although I wasn't sure if I had the correct email for Mr. Davis so not sure if he received my correspondence). So multiple layers of poor service and not standing by their product. 1. Brought in to dealership under false pretenses, vehicle was already in selling process. 2. Internet price was much more than advertised. 3. Servicing done 8 days after buying car for check engine light with less than 150 miles. 4. Motor seized with less than 3000 miles since purchase. 5. Avoiding the issue as if it was going to go away by not returning calls and making excuses. 6. Almost 4 weeks to the day to get the car out of Davis's hands for repair. 7. Treated as if I was the problem. Unfortunately being a reasonable person with integrity did not serve me well, I have been treated very poorly by this dealership. A lesson hard learned!!! More
