If I could give zero stars, I would. We drove 300 miles after negotiating a deal and they ended up adding $6K to the end cost. We had received an offer online on 08/26/2020 and then they evacuated for after negotiating a deal and they ended up adding $6K to the end cost. We had received an offer online on 08/26/2020 and then they evacuated for the hurricane, understandable. I was in contact with one of the salespeople during that time, but never received an update on when they would be opening. I called Sunday 08/30/2020 to find out that they had opened. We had the displeasure of speaking with Bryan Davis (Sales Manager) and working out a deal. The offer that we were given through their website said that it was good for 10 days. We were assured through text that it would be honored by the sales agent a couple of different times. 4 days later we called the dealership and Bryan told us that he could not honor the deal because that was the financing offer only. It clearly states on the website that it was the cash offer. So then he goes into how he could only allow us to finance so he would have the option of gap insurance and warranty. We were never told that this was necessary in order for the deal to be made. After asking for a walk out the door price several times we received one that was a little higher than we wanted to pay, but we were okay with it as we thought it was still a good deal. We made the 4.5-hour drive down with our toddler with excitement to pick it up. We test drove it, paid our down payment, agreed on the trade, and transferred our stuff into the new car. As we were signing the final documents, we noticed that the loan amount was about $4K more than what we were told. Apparently the gap insurance and the warranty were absolutely not optional and this was not disclosed. We were not given a price for this. We felt like they thought they could take advantage of us because we drove that far to get there. This was a blatant case of fraud and I hate that they lived up to the sleazy stereotype of used car salespersons. At the end of the day, I encourage you to not buy used from this dealer. They have soured my buying experience and how I view the Hyundai brand. More
