I recently stumbled across Hyundai of Plymouth on my way to lunch. Consequently after several test drives, and a few nights of deliberation, I purchased a new vehicle. Sam proved to be an invaluable resource throughout this process and despite my initial hesitation, did not rush me. I had a great experience at Hyundai of Plymouth. I'm 44 years old and have bought many cars. This was by far the best and easiest experience I have had at any dealership. Everyone was great, especially my salesman, Jake. He was very friendly and knowlegeable about the car I was interested in. I was suprised because I was looking at a Chevy which isn't what the sell there. Jake wanted to make a sale but there was never any pressure what so ever. That was refreshing. He was willing to do whatever I need him to do to help me decide on a car and get me the most from my trade. The car I was trading in was failing so I needed this transaction to be quick. He took care of everything in one day. Most of the sales pressure usually comes from the "finance" guy. They want you to add on stuff you might not need and before you know it, your payment is way more than you thought it would be. This was NOT the case. I was surprised how good this part of the sale was. The finance guy got me a way better intrest rate than I thought I would get. It left me enough money to add on a warranty and still come in just below what I wanted to pay. The finance guy was off the day I picked out the car. So, The rest of the sale had to be done the next day. This was Jake's day off but he came in anyway so that he would be there when I took delivery of the car, make sure it went smoothly, and give me a walk through of the service area. Jake told me that he has only been in sales for a few months. I wouldn't have guessed that he was new to sales. Seriously, He was the best car salesman I have ever had. Purchasing a new car was my first big purchase since my divorce 5 years ago so I was a little apprehensive about dealing with big city dealers, I am originally from Maine. I was so pleased to be treated so professionally yet friendly. Joe Lawlor was willing to "deal" with me and Jake was great. I am a pretty laid back person so we worked well together. Jake made sure I chose the correct car with the options I wanted. Jake answered all of my questions however he is fairly new, he was not afraid to ask Joe or Chris the GM. I was impressed by the friendliness of all the staff ..Chris was mindful of my needs as mindful of my time spent at the dealership. I was very satisfied with the dealership. I was not going to go there because of a past experience at that location with past owners. I found a vehicle on line that I wanted to check out and had been going to go there because of a past experience at that location with past owners. I found a vehicle on line that I wanted to check out and had been told by relatives that the dealership had a good name for themselves and I might consider trying them. I walked around the lot and was not approached right away (which is something I like, I do not like to be hounded.) I walked across the street to check out the vehicle I was interested in and not long after was approached by Jake Eldredge. He was outstanding. He was kind, courteous, energetic and very easy to talk to. He is young but is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I really had doubts but he turned them around. I ended up buying the car I came in for. Jake did not rush me, he listened and if he wasn't sure on an answer to a question instead of making up something he checked things out and got an answer for me.
