I have been reviewing and test-driving a number of cars for a few months now, trying to choose a somewhat sporty, but also economical car. I stopped at Tufankjian Hyundai just to test drive a Veloster and for a few months now, trying to choose a somewhat sporty, but also economical car. I stopped at Tufankjian Hyundai just to test drive a Veloster and was immediately impressed by the lack of pressure put on me by their sales staff. Instead I was encouraged to take my time with the test and then to make up my own mind about the car. Further, I was told repeatedly to be sure that I would be comfortable with my choice, so much so that they also encouraged me to borrow it overnight and drive it to work the next day. In the end, I'm not sure what sold me more - the very good car I purchased or the very, very good dealership I bought it from. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone tired of the high pressure tactics of dealerships like Autofair Honda or Sullivan Brothers. More

From the moment I walked into Tufankjian to the moment I drove off in my new Hyundai Tuscon, the experience couldn't have been better. I've had a Hyundai for several years and knew I wanted another but had drove off in my new Hyundai Tuscon, the experience couldn't have been better. I've had a Hyundai for several years and knew I wanted another but had been putting it off dreading the unpleasantness of haggling, making sure I got the best price, and convincing the salesperson that I did in fact know something about cars and finance even though I was a woman shopping alone. I've been having my Santa Fe serviced there for years and already knew that I would be using their service dept. no matter where I bought the car, so I started at Tufankjian hoping their sales dept. was as good as its service department and it was. You can't imagine what a breath of fresh air it was to be approached by a woman. I told her this was my first stop and I was looking for information and prices. After looking at three cars, I got both...in writing! (the only dealership to do that). I left saying that I would be out comparing services and prices a few other places. I got "We hope to see you again. Let us know if you have any questions." Here is some of what I got other places: What do we have to do so you buy this car today? If you don't take it at this price, you really don't want this car. This car may be gone tomorrow and I don't know if we can get another like it. What, you want the price in writing so you can show it to another dealer and ask them to beat it? So back to Tufankjian it was. I told them the best price I had been offered, they matched it. Two days later I drove out with a perfectly detailed, registered, inspected Tuscon. Oh yeah they also set up my Blue Tooth, had me make a call to make sure it was working and knew how all the features worked and filled the gas tank. Everyone I dealt with couldn't have been nicer or more professional, male or female, but I have to admit, the best part was having a woman salesperson, not just because Carey was great, but because a dealership that will employ a woman in a floor sales position understands that, yes, we women may just in fact be knowledgeable enough to purchase a car on our own. More

I brought my vehicle in because it needed an AC compressor, and with all this hot weather I couldn't travel with no AC. Bill was quick to diagnose the problem and even though I made my appointment compressor, and with all this hot weather I couldn't travel with no AC. Bill was quick to diagnose the problem and even though I made my appointment last minute, and there were other vehicles to attend to, he stayed late to make sure my compressor was fully installed and my AC was working.
