If you need a repair done, I suggest not taking your car here unless you want it being worked on for days. They will take days longer to do anything that Jiffy Lube or Sullivan tire can do in a day. The absolute worst car buying ☹️☹️service we have ever experienced. Salesperson, manager, and owner were highly unprofessional, angered when questioned about conflicting assertions and changing prices th experienced. Salesperson, manager, and owner were highly unprofessional, angered when questioned about conflicting assertions and changing prices they gave, and extremely arrogant and immaturely-behaved.The manager, in particular, was the epitome of arrogance and, it was evident, he really felt himself all puffed up and so proud when he started “scolding” us, barely containing his hot temper. It was funny; he looked like a little boy trying to act like a big shot (without success) and appeared to be restraining himself from coming to fisticuffs. He had such a need to look like a man-in-charge that it was, in retrospect both laughable and pathetic at the same time. In his FB post, owner Rountree writes: “Best of all - you can deal directly with me, Mark Rountree, if you have the desire to do so! I am always interested in receiving your feedback and everyone is welcome at Hyundai of Plymouth!” Uh — say what? Rountree is NOT by a long shot interested in hearing customer feedback unless you ask no questions, immediately sign on the dotted line, and fork over way more money than they first told you it was going to cost. If you do question anything they say to you, the owner will sulk and whine and accuse you of questioning his integrity. Wow! Guess a buyer cannot question a seller in order to make sound decisions when spending over $30k! Sad that an owner of a car dealership is so thin skinned. Everyone is NOT welcome in Mr. Rountree’s new business, especially those who politely ask for clarifications when they are given conflicting pieces of information (which of course, the salesman, owner and obnoxious manager wouldn’t admit to or apologize for as they have no class or sense of how to treat customers). If you are a mindless brainless sycophant, these three will be ever so happy to welcome you to their business. We have rarely seen such a highly unprofessional operation and it would be a miracle for this place to survive given the clueless three stooges we unfortunately had to deal with during the interminable totally wasted time we spent in their run-down poor excuse of a dealership. We suspect that while we were almost finished signing papers the manager stooge suddenly quashed the deal we had been working on for over four miserable hours and was just about to be finalized. We have no proof, but suspect they may have been negotiating behind our backs with someone else on the same car we were buying - which would explain why they kept stalling us without explanation. When they decided, for whatever reason, that they’d prefer to sell the car to the other party, they invented reasons for suddenly quashing our deal. This upset our niece greatly as the car was going to be purchased by her and they had already run her credit. In fact, they had already given her the key! As we all know, nobody wants too many credit pings. This dealer never should have reneged after doing this and after having already accepted the deposit. But, alas, the people who work here have no empathy or consideration for others…..they are too busy applauding themselves. All three men that we dealt with exhibited very poor communication skills and refused to acknowledge or to admit any mistakes they made or misinformation they imparted. With them, the customer is always wrong, especially when trying to clarify things The dealership itself looks like a rundown dump with signs all over the place saying they are short staffed. It’s not hard to see why. The whole operation is handled very ineffeciently with salespeople abandoning you to rush off and help another customer as you are kept waiting interminably. Our salesman couldn’t even keep his COVID mask on his face properly. It kept slipping down past his nose and when we pointed this out to him, he did nothing to fix it. If you have any questions for them, beware. They do not want to be questioned about anything. Horrible, horrible, horrible place. Buyer beware! We will be contacting Hyundai’s central operation to tell them of our experience with this terrible dealership franchise. Our guess is it won‘t stay in business for long. It is under new ownership by an owner who obviously knows very little and seems clueless and, frankly, very confused as to how to effectively run a business, especially one that deals with the public. I went to Hyundai of Plymouth last week to look at a new 2021 Hyundai Sonata N Line. I called ahead and set up an appointment with AJ. He was very pleasant on the phone and even better in person. When I arrived at the dealership AJ was busy with a customer. Mike approached me and asked if there was anything he could help me with while I waited for AJ. Neither Mike nor AJ made me feel pressured or rushed they are the example of what a car salesman should be. Unfortunately, the N Line they had on the lot was not a color that I was looking for so we couldn't come to a deal. However, I can see why they are the #1 dealer in their area. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new car! More
Do not bring your vehicle here for out of warranty work. I had a mouse get into my car and I took it to the dealership. After they looked at it they called and told me there was “extensive” damage and I wou I had a mouse get into my car and I took it to the dealership. Agreed to the repair as they told me the damage was “extensive”. After the repair I picked up my vehicle and the service person showed me the old part which had very minor damage to the fan, but the motor was completely fine. I asked why they couldn’t replace the fan, which they replied it doesn’t come as it’s own part. Or why they didn’t offer to not replace the part and just clean the necessary parts. As someone who’s worked in customer service, you should offer the customer all the available options. Not force them into a specific option because it makes you more money. Needless to say I was extremely upset that I was conned into a repair that wasn’t necessary. All they offered me was a free oil change for my troubles, but as this car is leased I get free oil changes for 3 years anyway. I will never take my car back to this dealership, will warn people to their shady tactics with out of warranty work, and when my lease is up I’ll be going to another Hyundai. More

They were amazing both AJ and Plymouth Hyundai they didn't try to make you buy unnecessary things for your vehicle.
