Even after I followed the owners advise in their response to my Google review, no one has responded to the email I sent where they asked me to send it. Instead, I get general email that says “The suspense is killing me, are you still looking for a Hyundai Palisades? Anxiously waiting”. Just bad business if you ask me. I will continue to provide updates. Changing to 1 star for now, unless someone other than a robot reaches out. Not a happy shopper that’s for sure. I reached out on a new Palisades about a week ago. I get emails from “Hyundai Of Palatine” after a few email exchanges, but cannot connect to an actual person. After explaining my current position on my lease, initially they said with no money down I can accomplish what I want for a payment. They needed the vin and exact payoff before they would give me a quote and I provided. After a day of getting nothing back after I provided the payoff and trade info, I reached back out. Then they ask me for T&L + taxes for almost $4000.00 down?? I have asked for the money factor, residual and some other details surrounding the lease and told them I would pay nothing more than the T&L because I know how finance “scoops” money for their reserve. I also told them “no money down” initially and they said they would be able to get my payments where I need, now they are doing this? I’m working with McGrath on a new Telluride and also their old GM in Indiana, and they gave me the info within a day. Now I’m ghosted by this dealer and they won’t respond and have called and left a few general messages with no call back. I have no idea who I was talking to, because they never provided a name. Seems like they don’t want to deal with educated customers, or ones they can try and take advantage of. Be careful all I’m saying and do your homework before you choose to work with this group.
