Successful Experience For the first time in my life I had to purchase a car by myself. I was not looking forward to it. I did my research and began going to dealerships to For the first time in my life I had to purchase a car by myself. I was not looking forward to it. I did my research and began going to dealerships to test drive the vehicles I thought I would like. I was surprised at how indifferent some dealerships were. I spent a half hour at one place looking at vehicles in the showroom and out on the lot without one person asking if I needed some help. I left. A friend suggested I go to Patrick Hyundai of Palatine. I was warmly welcomed the minute I entered. I was introduced to almost everyone on the showroom floor. How nice! It Was High Time. Was driving a 15-year old VW, so was well overdue for a new car. Seems Hyundai's been getting a lot of respect in the auto world in the last several years, and my sales exec, Dave Polcik, was gregarious and helpful with my many questions & 2 test drives. He never high-pressured me, & just wanted me to have as much info as possible in making an important decision that I will be living with for at least the next 5 to 10 years. He kept in touch with me over the few weeks I needed to ponder. Summing up, Dave was an ace and a pleasure to deal with, & took a lot of anxiety out of the ordeal of buying a new car. The Palatine dealership is beautiful, and am no longer embarrassed about my mode of transportation. More

Service appointment I was greeted by my service advisor John Niemann told him I was there for oil change was told it would probably be an hour I said fine and was headed I was greeted by my service advisor John Niemann told him I was there for oil change was told it would probably be an hour I said fine and was headed for customer lounge about 20 minutes latter John informed me that their was a recall on tires and front cowel that a set of tires had been ordered and that they were replacing cowel that goes across bottom of wind shield per Hyundi was informed that I would get a call to have tires installed I appreciate the upfront and straight forward approach and not being told I need a whole bunch of things done only what's needed Frank Zaccari More
