Disappointing, unorganized, uninformative experience Nicole was wonderful. I reached out Saturday morning asking if she could price out the vehicle for me if I live in Wisconsin. She got back to me quick Nicole was wonderful. I reached out Saturday morning asking if she could price out the vehicle for me if I live in Wisconsin. She got back to me quickly and told me exactly the cost I would pay, including Wisconsin license and taxes. I told her I would be willing to drive down and purchase the car that day. I told her to expect me at 1pm and have the car ready. I had a pre-approved loan from UW-Credit Union and Grossinger was listed as one of their certified dealers. UW said it would be a very easy process and all I needed to do was send over my pre-approval document, which I did that morning before I left. When I arrived, another salesperson Phillip was waiting for me outside. He took me to look at the vehicle, which wasn't detailed but still dirty. I said it looked good and was ready to work through the paperwork. He was very disorganized and didn't help walk me through the process at all. He kept leaving and coming back to his desk and asking me to sign documents without any explanation as to what they were. They hassled me for not wanting to do financing through Hyundai. They said the $500 rebate would make the 3.9% APR (compared to my 2.56% APR from UW-Credit Union) a few pennies cheaper, which is a lie. I said I wanted to go with UW-Credit Union, which they clearly didn't like. Then Phillip asked if I had a check from UW Credit Union to hand to them that day. I said no, I talked to UW and they said since they're a certified dealer, I wouldn't need one. UW told me they would know how the process worked and it would be really easy. Well it wasn't. They said they needed a check, and I didn't have one, so they told me I needed to go on a temporary contract with financing through them and then have UW send the check ASAP. They also never asked if I was making a down payment. I finally got my checkbook out while I was talking to the finance manager and he said "wait, are you doing a down payment?" I said, yes, I told Phillip that. The finance manager said Phillip never mentioned that so he had to print out all new paperwork for the loan. Finally, they had the car sent back to get detailed. I had to then wait for it to get finished. Next, the paperwork included $179 for Wisconsin license and fees; however, when I walked outside, there was only a temporary Illinois license and Phillip said I would have to go to the Wisconsin DMV and get the plates myself. Everything they had said prior had led me to believe they would be able to get me Wisconsin plates. After getting home, I double checked what I had agreed to pay for and $179 was definitely on there for Wisconsin license fees. Phillip didn't even give me his business card, so I followed up with Nicole and the finance manager twice who never responded about these license fees I paid for. No one has checked in to see how I was doing either. When I spoke with UW-Credit Union on Monday, she said Grossinger clearly didn't understand how the process works when they are a certified dealer of the credit union. She apologized for the inconvenience and said she would contact the dealer and get it all figured out for me (finally some nice customer service!). They apparently got it figured out and UW-Credit Union ended up sending in for my Wisconsin plates, which I had to pay for again. What started out as a great car-buying experience turned into annoyance and disappointment. The process at Grossinger was completely disorganized and uninformative. They acted like they had never sold a car before. Now I've never heard back from them, so I guess I'm just going to bite the bullet and be out $179 since they won't respond to me. SO disappointed. More

I would like that you know not all was perfect after deal. I have found through several days that my car pulled on the left side. And it is does not matter what speed. Definitely the car changes the line and had worked signal"changes line". It was not savety and i have visited dealership Grossinger Hyundai immediately. It was 03/29. The employee of Grossinger Hyundai have checked car and come back to me after 15 min. Unfortunately the problem had not fixed and i am came back next day. The next day i have spent 4 hours at the Grossinger Hyundai. I coud not drive the car because it was not savety and the car have pulled the left. I have had discus with many people at the dealership. And they told me that it is not problem and do not have any objection. I tried to explain and some people have drived with me for testing. And only after 4 hours the team agreed have leaved my car in dealership. We discussed that the team will call to engineer at the Hyundai Motors and will received any explain regarding my question. Next Friday i have received phone call from GH and the team told me that my car is ready to picked up. I am not technical specialist and do not understand in the car. For me as a client very important correct Technics condition of vehicle. Unfortunately i do not know what was done or not and is manager had a discuss with plant. Now my car do not pull left. Kindly pay attention if your client told about problem with the car and do not ignore this. Especially if it concern news cars. Regards. More

Great Service I had Carlos as a salesman, Carlos was very nice and easy to talk to. Most times when I walk into a car dealership, it is a very uneasy feeling.
