Took my car in for maintenance in November (cost me 2k) and by end of December my check engine light was back on. They wanted an additional 2.5k to fix things that “weren’t found on the previous inspection and by end of December my check engine light was back on. To be fair I am rating their Service department based on my first service experience of Hyundai Elantra Hybrid. Sales department was OK. But service experience was below average. 3 years of service is fre my first service experience of Hyundai Elantra Hybrid. Sales department was OK. But service experience was below average. 3 years of service is free (capped at 35k miles) yet I am told this is my first of 3 free services. Car isn’t washed or cleaned under pretext of freezing temperatures which is the case for 4 out of 12 months at the least. Service reminder is not reset. All with very long face as if they hate their job. Will never pay for service here. More
Was told through calls and text messages that a deal can be made with rough numbers being stated. Once I arrived, wasted 45 minutes for numbers that were 4 times higher than stated. Purchased a 2025 Palisade Calligraphy Night Edition from a young, very well trained sales lady Chelly Guerrero who is articulate, patient, and methodical. Wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money and trade in my 23 Telluride, but after having several bad experiences with Kia dealerships, Chelly's patience withstood my procrastination. This dealership was aggressive in their close-out pricing on the 2024 models, but I wanted a clear understanding of the amount I was spending as sometimes trade-in values and dealership math gets confusing and misleading. I agree with others who've stated that the Leader Discount is meaningless. Unless you're going to use their financing, the discount is just to get you in the door. The saleswoman who I interacted with was nice enough (Kathy). She told me that the vehicle I was interested in purchasing would be arriving at the end of the week and we agreed on price, including the "Leader Discount". But as soon as we started talking about my trade-in and my financing (I had my own financing), things went immediately downhill. First, they offered me over $2,000 LESS than KBB trade-in value for my trade. When I declined that offer, she stepped away and returned with her manager who outright lied to me - telling me he was unsure when the vehicle would arrive and could be arriving late next month or even later than that. Using an inventory tracker, I could see that it actually did show up when the saleswoman originally said it would. After he walked away, she said that she would work on finding the car I wanted as soon as she could, but it's been over a month and I haven't heard from her or the dealership since. Stay away from this place - in the words of "Dr. House", everybody there lies. In fact, stay away from Hyundai of Lincolnwood too - they're the sister dealership to Hyundai of Palatine and are not much better. More

The "leadership discount" it's a lie. DONT BELIEVE IT!!! Leaders in lying, cheating and stealing maybe. I called ahead and told them the SUV I wanted and the price range I wanted to be around, they said if I had excellent credit that they could make that work. I have excellent credit and they still made the payments about 25$ more a month than we agreed upon. Also, when I showed up, they told me that the car I wanted I couldn't get because there was a stop sale on it and they were going to give me the same care but different vin, (on cars.com where I looked, they were all different prices due to different accessories. I also called about this leadership to find out why they can take $5,000 off of a new car and they lied and told me it was because they sell so many cars. (There's no law in Illinois that prevents them from false advertising). I was texting with the salesperson all day setting stuff up and making sure everything was good to surprise my fiancé. So, we get there after my fiancé gets off work and there's 3 hours before they close, and we left after they closed for no reason.... it was the end of the month, the sale/deals were about to expire "of course", and we drove an hour to go get this new car. We go to do the paperwork as the store is closing and they tell me I have to pay $2000 for low jack, which no one told me about and they gave me $250 less than what was appraised at a Hyundai dealer closer to me. I let them pressure me into the buy because I just wanted to get out of there, I was so frustrated. After it was all said and done my payments are about $100 more than we agreed upon over the phone and they had all these things they did to make up that $5000 discount they offered online. I was also told I didn't qualify for all of the discount even though there were no criteria online to show you what the criteria is to be eligible for the "leadership discount". They extended the payments to 84 months instead of 72 to make the numbers look better. They also didn't give us the military discount or the student discount which we talked about over the phone. I will never go here again, worst experience I have ever had while car buying. I knew I should have left but I needed a new car as the heater wasn't working in it and its winter along with the other things that were going wrong with the car that I could not personally fix. I felt bamboozled and the stars aligned just right for them. More
